Nellai is named after the Lord Shiva temple where the deity is known as Nellaiappar and his consort is Kantimathi .Karrpati is jaggery of Palm and not sugarcane jaggery

I guess that entire lunch would be close to 200 kcal. Suggested calorie intake by medical practitioners is 2000 kcal per day for India. Wondering if this food on a regular basis is really good on health.

We tirunelveli people are so proud of our ancient culture like any other people. Food is very good , cheap healthy, Chandra Vilas used to a famous restaurant, who had a stall at the station those days ,with the bridge coming their business has dwindled ,I m told
