I'm already in tears and the video hasn't even really started yet. Hearing his name was enough. Sometimes I hate dogs for being able to wiggle their way into my heart within a second. I wondered where he was but assumed he moved on to his new home. I'm so sorry. As Aaron said, death is hard, but when it's one so young and it's unexpected, it makes it even harder. This makes my heart hurt. We got to meet Brumby when we brought the squirrel. He was such a sweet dog. At the end of the video, your message of forgiveness really hit home. I lost my 18 year old Grandson to an accidental shooting, almost a year ago. Sometimes those feelings of anger seem to linger on. You all are truly amazing for what you do for your animals. I will keep your family in prayer. We need to forgive as God forgave us. I am so sorry that you had to go through this loss. May God bless your family and your animals ❤

I’m so sorry to hear about sweet Brumby. I know how you must all be feeling, I just lost my cat Shoes a month and a half ago. I can’t imagine being without my Assistance Dog Tyga any time soon. Unfortunately accidents happen and especially with puppies. Forgiving is hard and being angry and bitter is understandable, but not healthy in the long term. I loved watching the footage of your journey with him from when you picked him up right through. You should be proud of how well he was doing and how healthy and happy he was. The lady from the organisation was right with what she said, accidents happen, not the first and won’t be the last. Of course they don’t blame you guys. Thank you Annette with KSDS for being so forgiving and letting Angus know right away that he will be able to train more puppies, that means a lot and helps reassure him that he’s not to blame. Droopy, you put so much effort and love into training him and he was doing such a good job, you’re in my prayers. One of the hardest lessons in life is saying goodbye to dogs, especially when they’re so young. It had to have been so hard to not have been home when it happened and to say goodbye. Thank you Grandma Carol for sending such a sweet stuffie, it is so cute and when the segment first started I thought it was a throwback video yo when Brumby was a puppy. I had wondered where Brumby was but I just figured he just wasn’t in the videos at this time. RIP Brumby, you will be missed by so many. I can’t wait until Angus is ready for another puppy to train. ❤️🐶

So so sad. Brumby was yours for a ‘Season’. I know how much it hurt when my 6 month old black lab died from getting Parvovirus from the clinic where she had just had her baby shots. Back then , there was no way to save them and she died at home just 3 days later. It was a shock and the first dog I had ever lost to anything other than old age. You all will always have those great memories .

Heartbroken to hear about Brumby 💔. I’m so sorry for all of you. Angus-sweet young man, you did lots of great things with and for Brumby. Fynn, Sawyer, Bryar, Wren, Nash-you all taught Brumby so much and helped him learn the invaluable things he needed for his ‘job’. Most of all, everyone in the whole family loved Brumby and he knew and felt that, as well as loving all of you back. Such a tragic loss but you hold on to all of the wonderful memories.
