There is a parking area that is part of the Parliament Network Plans. It will be about 2 miles east of the Market. We are working on funding for that. First we are working on the next 4 trails to complete the network. Important to note that you can dispersed park all along 20 on the fire roads. We are so lucky to have willing partners at the Tahoe National Forest who allow us to build this type of trail on public land and the support of Nevada County with grants to help developing this network.

Yes, tons of parking available as long as you're not set on parking right by the market! Love this area and the new trails are looking great.

BONC reworked and rerouted parts of Scott's a few years ago. Cut out some of the pedally parts and put in some jumps and berms instead of the tight, flat switchbacks that you remember and made it more fun.

This is my favorite mountain bike trail I’ve ever done! It’s called the hoot trail and there is a little food market for after rides. My family owns a house on Scott’s flat lake so every time we go up there, we ride that trail. Would 100% recommend

Scotts does peter out but there is a spot where you can cut out to the road early a save a bit on the climb out. I'm surprised to hear about the parking. There is a dirt lot on the other side of the market, and even when I think I'm not going to get a spot there, I always do, even on a weekend. There is also more parking across the street. I agree with you about parking at the lake, especially if it's a one time thing and not every weekend, but its just more convenient to park at the market even though that means you always end with a climb out.

6:27 I feel that I love mountain biking just as much as fishing I fish and bike the same amount but I find biking more rewarding and fishing more relaxing unless I’m fishing a tournament or something And I spend my life savings on both but fishing is so much cheaper even tho I make it expensive because I like top of the line gear. Mountain biking on the other hand it gets annoying spending 3+ grand on a bike every few years

@@Rickydbaby Lower Crabtree is running perfect right now with just a few snowy/muddy spots. The super non stop tech Moraine trail up the hill above dodge ridge loop road is running really good too, just some debris every now and then. We were the first people to ride it this year it looked like. It starts right above dodge ridge and ends in a little neighborhood at the bottom. Lyons reservoir is tons of fun, and the climb back up the road isn’t too bad. Those trails are already pretty dry and loose and the berms need some building up a bit but it’s still fun

How well do these trails handle rain? I’ll be in the area in a few days but it looks like they’ve had a couple inches of rain in the last couple of days and might get a little bit more. Obviously don’t want to damage the trails if it’s too muddy but I just don’t know what the dirt is like in this area so any advice is appreciated! Would you ride the day after an inch of rain?

On the parts that you name after locations. Do you put the GPS location of the trail head, on the part somewhere? That way if we customers want to visit the special place, we can just type the GPS location in on google.

That sure looked like a good fun trail. I've got to say though, I think the overly noisy hub does detract from your videos. I think the raw sound of tyres doing their thing on the trail surfaces should be the focus 🙂👍.

@BKXC According to your website, you are currently riding on Maxxis Assegai tires. How do they perform on climbs? Based on many of your videos, I see that, like me, you like difficult technical climbs almost ss much as riding flowy downhill trails. I've seen a lot of reviews of these tires, but they're pretty much only about downhill performance, so I'd really appreciate it if you could say a few words about these tires (especially about climbing performance) in one of your future videos. Thank you in advance.

Dood. I swear you ended this video by saying you were headed to Oakridge soon. But that was a long day, and it may have been the end of another autoplay I saw, after this one. Either way, if you're in the area, check out Crawfish. It's just one ridge south of Oakridge, and sees virtually no traffic. I climbed to the very top last week, and I was laying fresh tracks. People have been lapping the bottom for a bit. You can shuttle with two cars, but it was 3,500' in 7.5 miles to get to the top. Once you're there, you'll get better views than just about anything in Oakridge... The top half has more tech than most everything I've been on in Oakridge, and the bottom has some amazing, low key, old school feeling flow.
