I know what storm that was, and it was a beast. Lancaster looked like a bomb went off there. Toad dude was just trying to keep you bug-free. The mouse was looking for handouts.

So when you chop a big tree next to a house the roots can go 20 meters deep, when they rot they leave little tunnels into which the ground starts falling to fill. This cave-in then threatens the foundation. Consult an expert if you can.
