Make sure you keep the Home Island Immunity; I've heard that something a bit special happens if you get to a specific island and one of your creatures has it. (only in story mode)

Zaralee McAuliffe well, i beleive you can get to the island, you just cant get them to join your tribe, IE you cant get the badge. And then you die because interbreeding takes over completely, since nothing else seems to spawn nicheling wise...

Eve clung onto her lifeline, a piece of driftwood that barely kept her afloat, with all the strength she could muster. The young creature days before, had been taken hostage by the riptide and forced to watch, helpless, as she was taken farther and farther away until her old home was nothing more than a freckle on the ocean horizon. Being the strongest swimmer among the young of her tribe meant nothing if she couldn't battle against the riptide. Being lost at sea, Eve knew of no place she could swim to. All she could do was to pray to Splash that he would offer her safe travel across his vast ocean. The sun shone harshly down against her quills and her heavy crown of horns, further adding to her exhaustion. The last thing she had ate and drank was a sardine that had no chance escaping a famished nicheling and a sip of dirty rainwater. Eve narrowed her eyes; the reflection of the sun's blinding rays against the chrome of saltwater was too much strain for her eyes to take. In the distance however, she could make out the faint outline of a small island. At the sight of land, Eve was instantly rejuvenated. Thoughts of her paws hitting solid land and the salty-sweet taste of scallops swam around in her mind and fueled Eve as she paddled quickly as she can to the island. When Eve reached the island, she nearly passed out right there on the beach. As unconsciousness overtook her, the soft scuttling of crabbits and the crashing of waves filled her ears. It had seemed forever since Eve had felt this safe.

There's shortcuts for the senses! 1 on your keyboard is sight, 2 is smell, 3 is hearing. I figured this out by accident and it has saved my life, I HATE toggling through with that big ol button

Adam dragged himself onto the land, panting. Where was he? The first whiff of scent he had gotten from his stripy snout was a female, a scent he had a bit of a hard time recognizing at first. 'I'm not alone!' He cheered silently, while searching through the grass with determination to find the female. Though he couldn't find a single trace, besides a cozy warm nest. He stared at it, impressed by the handiwork made into this. "That's impressive." He admitted. The male sat in the nest, feeling warm and cozy. The nest was perfect. Too tired to search for a shelter himself, the male tucked himself in, and sleep overcame his senses. This was home, for now at least. Adam wasn't sure if this was a dream or not, but in the middle of the night, he swore he saw a brown shadow, thorns growing from her sides. "He looks so peaceful when he's sleeping. Very cute as well." The voice said in a hushed tone, as if trying not to wake him up. He flicked his ears and felt himself go a bit red. Cute? That wasn't a word to describe him. He was supposed to be the fierce of Tigerclan, not a cute little creature. "I am not cute!" He huffed in response, sitting in the cozy nest. The creature gasped in shock, and dashed away, while Adam called out to her: Wait! Adam didn't search for the creature in the night, but he kept on thinking about her till early dawn came. He decided to apologize for his rude words, and try to get to know the creature. She seemed nice. The male sweeped the dust off the nest, wondering if the mysterious creature made the nest with her own paws. "She already seems so cool." Adam heard himself say. He frowned to himself as he sniffed around in the dark grass. The male then saw a huge tree, and ran near to it, before falling into a hole. He let out a groan as he tried to push himself up with his small claws and lean body. Lucky unfortunately wasn't on his side today. A paw lifted him off, while he closed his black eyes. When he opened them again, there were met with the back of thorns of a creature. The scent was the same, and her thorns were a light shade of pink. It suited her well with her brown fur. He uncovered the grass, and yelled: "Caught you!" She gasped, ramming her horns in his face. Adam stumbled back slowly, feeling dizzy. He fell into the hole again, and blacked out. When he woke up again, it was by now midday. The sun greeted Adam with an unfriendly touch of unbearable heat. "The sun's so warm." He groaned. Adam was about to complain more when he saw the ramming creature. She stared at him with fear, and nervousness. "H-Hello. My name is Eve. I'm sorry I hit you and I offended you." She whispered softly, which Adam couldn't help but admire. Boy, this creature was so innocent and sweet, and amazing... "He-Hello? You there?" Eve flashed him back to reality. Adam turned a bit red, and nodded curtly. "Y-Yess. Sorry Eve. Very pretty name." He flashed a smile, which Eve froze to in fear. The smile turned into a frown. Was he that scary, or was the creature just extremely jumpy? "Relax Eve, I'm not that scary. The name's Adam." He greeted her. "Hello Adam. You have a very nice name." She replied, eyes shining with delight to his name. The two began talking over stuff, including the nest Eve had made, which was extremely impressive to Adam. They talked about how they end up here, and how their tribes were like. Adam also learned that Eve was a day older than him. Eve complimented how he managed to adapt so easily compared to her, which he responded: "Have more confidence. You're amazing Eve." The sun had began to set, and Adam didn't ever want her to leave his side. "Wait! Eve, join my tribe, please!" He asked, giving her a few berries he was going to eat for later. "You have a tribe?" She asked, while sniffing the berries with hungry. "Uhh.. you're our first member?" Adam replied, face heating up again. Eve smiled and nodded. "Of course Adam." She licked his nose happily, while sighing. Adam uncovered more grass and unexplored terrain while Eve collected shells and nuts to help keep the food supply going. Both enjoyed each other's presence and were thinking of having little kits. Eve wondered when she should confess about being mates with him. Adam always felt his heart race around her and her innocence and sweetness too much for him. It was a raining day for the both of them and when Eve was going to confess. She had asked Adam if he could meet her at the tree trunk, where they had awkwardly met. He dashed toward there, while checking the thor-pine needles Eve had called them. "What is it Eve? Need any help?" Adam asked. "I.. May you be my mate?" She asked abruptly. Adam smiled and nodded, licking her nose, like a mate would. Eve was overjoyed, and in return, she licked him back. "I think I saw a nest here. Come on." urged the male. "I'm coming. I just want to gather some food." She explained. Eve cracked and grabbed some nuts, and followed Adam to the back of the island, to where the nest is, and their new home.

I adore how lovestruck Adam was when he first saw Eve. You could pretty much see the little hearts in his eyes! Also this is the purest thing I've seen about their relationship and honestly this one-shot is godsend.

i was thinking and something no one has ever thought of was... THE LEGACY CHALLENGE IN NICHE!! Why does the sims get to have all the fun? You and your mate arrive at an island that is completely new to you. Your thinking you want to start a family here, but your not sure you want your mate running around with other creatures. And thus, the legacy challenge begins. Rules: 1. The mate assigned to a creature has to stay with them forever until death. 2. The heir is the only one who has to find a mate as quickly as possible. If they die before that, there must be a new heir, as similar to the departed as they can be. 3. (since this is a legacy challenge) The heir has to have 2 or more features that they share with the parents, and it goes down the line. 4. you can change it up with the gene input menu, but you cannot do this until you reach the 3rd generation. 5. You may not leave the first island until 3 kiddos are born. 6. If you get a child with undesirable traits (blindness, albinism, etc.) they are not allowed to breed with the heir or be near it. they also get the omega rank. 7. Wanderers can not be elected heir, only their child can. 8. If a rouge male mates with the any female other than the heir you can leave it or kill it. If it mates with the heir, you must invite it in to your tribe before 2 days pass. if 2 days pass, you must kill it. 9. Has to be on sandbox mode. (you can pick any island you want) If your starter is not what you dream it to be, its fine! As i said, there is the third generation! And yes these rules sound harsh but you can change them up slightly. Leave a like if you want to do it, or am doing it. Please tell me if you want to change something or think im being to hard on you. Hope you do it Jessimew!
