Let's make sure we all remember and honour Avicii. The best way to do that is to keep his legacy alive. Listen to his music, watch his videos, watch the documentary and tell your friends, tell your parents, tell your kids about this amazing guy Tim, aka Avicii that had such an amazing influence and was such a lovely sweet hardworking kid but also tell everyone about his mistakes so we can all do better…

I talked with him for some years.. I was 14 and started producing tracks, and he encouraged me because of my age. It's so crazy to imagine one second he's away now.. He used to give me tips, feedback, solutions, and kept saying work will pay one day. I will never stop thanking him for what he's done for me, and I can say one thing: he was such a good person. We miss you Tim...

You probably know I said this before but still I’ll say it again Luke: The way you tutor, show, educate, AND use your position in the dancemusic industry is very VERY respectable. Oh 1 thing: Don’t be afraid to show emotion (eg tears), for they too, are part of life... Bless, S. #manhug

Stress, anxiety, and peer pressure are huge impacts on life. I am on my second deployment right now with the US Navy and go through different stress every day. Just like Luke said, we all have friends, families, and people in this world that are here to make our life amazing. We need to remember to take a step back once in a while to remember that.

Stopped listening to Avicii a couple of years ago but it's amazing to look back to his records and realize that almost every track he made was a piece of art that affected so many people in so many different ways! 'Seek Bromance' still gives me the chills and will forever be in my heart. Much respect to Tim.

I was so shocked when I first heard of this message! :/ Avicii was and still is one of my biggest inspirations 🎶I literally watched his studio session with "Future Music Magazine" more than 10 times just to learn new things, learn about his workflow and see what he is doing in Fl Studio. I loved his music specially his melodies and how he changed the music industry. Sadly one of my biggest dreams: To meet Tim in person and to speak to him will never be fulfilled. I'm still thankful for everything he did and hope that his music will never stop inspiring people!! 🎶 May Tim "Avicii" rest in peace 🎶🎶 Hope you guys think the same about this! #RipAvicii 🙏

There is no otheer like Lucas Van Schippingen, and ceertainly, there will be no one like Timmy Timmy Timmy Berling (listening to Desiigner´s Timmy Turner). Luke, you are the best DJ in the world, it doesnt matter what magazines and popularity polls say. #1 DJ in the world means more than having 10 hits going #1 on Beatport or Spinning Recs or being the best paid DJ 6 times in a row, or selling completely to the Elite. TO be #1 DJ in the world is just what you and only you do: To become a talent scout, musician, producer, blogger and Vlogger, CEO at your own record label, host of your own radio show, mixmaster, entretainer, preserver of the DJ culture and caring about the comunnity, being a mentor for future generations, being honest about every aspect of the DJ carrer and what is most important: SHARING IT. You were close to Avicii and also experienced how is to be living on the edge, yourself back in the day. My only question still is : If everyone claimed to be as close as Avicii as you really were, why the hell nobody played his new songs this year? Just a few played Without You, but the EP was 6 songs and at time of death, at least other 2 songs were certifed singles..Lonely Together and the best song of the record: YOU BE LOVE. Why nobody played this songs on their sets, as for what I read, all reviews on his 01-AVICI EP that I recall, said it was excellent. My other question is: why do you never talk about trance when you refer to generes? Support, Love and Respect form Tijuana, Mexico.,

Ever since I started watching your vlogs, I realised what kind of lifestyle you have to go through and then when Avicii (may he rest in peace) passed away I immediately thought to myself how many more DJ's are there that are going through this right now as well? I don't want see another great loss like that, at least not a young one. It's true what you said Luke, people need to speak up about what's troubling them, I want to see DJ's talk to one another about hardships like that and support each other. The veterans should teach the young talent not just the skills but the difficulties that come with being a major performer. I wish nothing but the best of things and strength to all the DJ's out there

this is was tragic... such a hard-working artist. my respect goes out to him and everyone else just trying to become a better artist. Thank you luke for being there and guiding those who is trying to follow their dreams. That business and work stress is pretty lame... I totally understand how life gets when all you do is work and work and work. I am an animator in the industry and have noticed that when all I do is work for others all the time, I begin to not feel super overly happy as i usually am and i just feel weird. The balance for me is to only work and make art for someone else's vision as a day job, and use the rest of my spare time to make art for myself and work on my personal projects and even just learning new skills like how im trying to learn how to express myself musically now. The life of only grinding and making money is not for all artist, my vision and creative expression is too much of a part of my life and I think many artist can relate no matter what the art form may be. We make art for ouselves most importantly, and that's a part of life that keeps us happy and motivated while also expriencing everything else life has to offer for inspiration and fun.

Despite saying stop his manager kept pushing him and as a man who wanted to please and do his best he could not say stop until too late. That's the sadness of this extravert driven world where introvert are always asked to be against their true nature. He was a producer, too sad he was pushed too hard to being a DJ as EDM would call it. He is the collateral damage of EDM craziness. RIP Tim. RIP EDM... I understand you can become a producer after being a DJ, but I never understood how a studio guy can become a DJ.....

Every wedding, every lounge gig, every bar/club gig I play, I’m a total wreck up to the point of when I start to play. I spend the week before usually getting whatever songs I need and building a crate. I organize it so I can navigate it easier. The day before I have to tell myself to not think about it a few times. A few hours before I’m a mess, I don’t want to do it, I get really nervous and want to find ways to get out of it. I get in my vehicle, drive to the spot and set up, still nervous. A lounge/bar gig the set up is 5 min or less, a wedding an hour or so. With weddings I don’t loose my nerves until the reception is going, and that can be a few hours in at times. In the bar/lounge gigs after a few songs I’m usually good. Once it’s all said and done I always look back and say what the hell was I so nervous about. It still happens every time and it’s been 6 years.

This might sound silly, but I'm 66, grew up with the beautiful melodies of Beach Boys' harmonies, and I've only just discovered Avicii and 2 of his best songs (this and Hey Brother). I guess I'll spend the rest of my days trying to catch up to what great music he left behind. Sad, to have only found him after he's gone....

Luke you are an amazing artist and such a reference in the electronic music for any Dj/producer. This message has been really emotive and thanks for showing that being a celebrity DJ is such more that puting a couple songs party after party and touching four things in a computer to do music. Saludos

For me this vlog is the best so far .. I hate couple od tributes and some of them were fake for me .. Everybody knows that there is a massage. We love Avicii and we are sad but something have to be said .. And you said it .. You are so clever person and i am so happy that someone famous tells the truth and warned people..
