I'm an american and I have the greatest respect and honor for your beautiful mother. I've been thinking of her over the past few months. I was so happy to hear that she was 103 and still communicating her special message to the veterans and the British people. She and Queen Elizabeth have contributed so much to the legacy of that "greatest generation". I can certainly empathize with your loss having lost my own mother recently. Your mother certainly left this world as a true heroine. She's was also a tremendous vocalist.

I think about all the people I have learned about over the years. Vera has been at the top for such a long time. She is such a great inspiration for all of us to follow. Sometimes if I found myself questioning myself about something I should do or not I could ask myself "what would Vera do?" and I could find an answer. That's the kind of inspiration Vera has left on me. I think the world would be a better place if more people took to heart the same values that Vera did. She lived a great life and I will miss her. Rest easy now Vera and God bless you!
