A Tribute to Horror (Movies and Television) - Part 6

This one's a little different, but I wanted to try something different and this is what came out as I was trying to put together another video.
The song is a cover of Ordinary World by The Hit House. Still working on some others, but not sure I'll manage to finish more before Halloween. We'll see.

@@AfroGiraffe-1 I went ahead and watched it since it was basically the length of a TV episode. It wasn't bad. Not Thriller, but still fun. I'll find a place for a clip or two somewhere in the future.

I use covers to avoid copyright issues. In most cases, I'd rather use the original song by the original artist, but I've had videos deleted after putting tons of work into it because I used it. However, this is one song where I actually prefer the cover. As for Land of Confusion, it's also on deck for another tribute I'm doing, but as you can guess, I'm using a cover so it can be viewed.

@@sawyersoze8104 ok i can understand that, luckily you got thriller in that other video which was great. i know of some places where people are putting videos out online or on dvd that lets them not have to worry about copyright at all, maybe you'd be interested in. land of confusion would be good, but i wonder which one would fit, because disturbed did a cover of genesis, theres also a good one by a lesser known group called killer klowns, maybe you can use them, heres a sample. good luck and great job on these kzbin.info/www/bejne/nJ-wo5Vra9x2nMk

@@artsaganza8742 I’d be interested. There’s some projects I’m working on that I know I won’t be able to put on KZbin, so I could always use an alternative. Otherwise, they just sit on my hard drive for me and my friends to view lol. Since I did the Thriller one, they’ve gotten stricter on copyright. I don’t even think I could get that one posted today.

@@sawyersoze8104 i love that thriller one, thats my favorite of all yours, how is it still up? i hope it stays up and i;m promoting your stuff to others. i know a few people working on preserving videos some online sites and some use dvds or oddly even vhs. do you know of everything is terrible? concrete tv? or here lies, they have a some stuff online and some not. i have had some contact with some of them. is there a email or something i can send you stuff? also what was the film at the end in this video which i think was patton oswald in it at the doors of the theater? thanks

@@artsaganza8742 I think they leave stuff up that was fine at the time it was posted, but it just depends on what the rights holders at the time want. I'm not trying to make money on this stuff, so I don't care if it gets monetized by the original artist, but it irks me when they just block stuff when I'm basically promoting their stuff for them. Makes no sense to me. I've never heard of any of those places, to be honest. But I have an old e-mail address you can send stuff to at [e-mail]. It's not my primary one, but I'd rather keep that off the internet. That bit with Patton Oswalt throughout the video was taken from an episode of Dimension 404, a Twilight Zone-esque series that only had about 6 episodes, I believe.
