A Trip Home to the Ocean | Semiahmoo Beach | Washington State |

Over Mother's Day weekend, I flew home to Washington State to start going through my storage unit and process my feelings from my losses of my grandparents, parents and that whole empty nester mom thing we have to go through when our kids all grow up and move to different places and we don't get to see them much.
The first beach I wanted to visit was the one that started me on this whole vanlife journey in the first place (and which I will share more about later!) - and one I spent a lot of time shedding a lot of tears over the past few years.
It is my healing place and I thought I would share it with you.
The sunset was incredible and exactly what I needed on my first beach visit in 6 months after spending all this time in Arizona in the desert!
