First time I rode on a Strasburg train was June 1966. It was a rail excursion out of Baltimore on the PRR. We got off our electric train at Leaman Place Junction and boarded the steam train for the trip into Strasburg. Still have my engineer's hat I bought at the gift shop and photos of the trip.

I have vintage Super-8 film of the Strasburg which I shot as an 18 year old. What's kind of neat about it is at one point, quite by surprise, my Dad comes into frame: alive and well, and about 20 years younger than I am today! How we see these things changes as the years pass...
