I’m from Edinburgh and was a young boy of 8 then, great footage, nice soundtrack, did you travel all the way from Jersey? what an adventure. I’ve been digitising old 8mm and super 8 films recently and I love preserving these memories for people, it has a special quality.

Murrayfield no doubt. We were there, stayed at Pollock Halls and then rented a cottage at Fort William for a week touring. Happy days.

Interesting.. they were shooting a Royal Salute at the Castle.. so either the Queen's or DofE's official birthday, so possibly the 10th or 15th June..
