A trip to Framlingham, England, and its castle

Love Framlingham! Used to go caravaning with my family as a child in the field next to the castle most years and we had free access inside the castle for how ever long we stayed. I remember the ice cream van that came daily also had amazing ice cream ♥️

A really beautiful town it seems love all the different village shops and pubs and houses, would love to visit Framlingham castle though, the sheer size of the place is wonderful and you had a beautiful day for it. i found framlingham by accident while delivering tractor parts for farmers and since then i am drawn to framlingham is because i was there in a past life who knows

Today my parents and I went to visit Framlingham Castle & Orford Castle. First times to them.

At both the castles in glass cases were wooden batons. Police Constables Batons.

What is the whining about the entry fee! It’s a VERY historical building that need funds to preserve it for future generations. For the same price you can have a fish and chips and a beer that will be down the drain in 24 hours 😂. Get a grip.

I didn’t have a problem paying *a* fee, but found it very high, that’s all, and have heard others similarly complain about NT attractions. Also, thanks for the ‘VERY’, as I had assumed it was ‘NORMALLY’ historical and now feel silly.
