I so loved the footage of Ohio. I worked at the OSU hospital as a younger woman, but never went to a game! I actually was in Columbus that day but on the far east side for a party at my nephew's home. A lot of the homes in German village have turned into Air B&Bs. My brother once owned a home there and it was so unique, but he now lives along the river in Upper Arlington. Just love when you take us along but love the most seeing your children. They seem so happy!

Good morning Lynette. They're still pumping out some of the flooded areas here, and just last week they started cutting up all the fallen trees & getting the smaller limbs & brush out to the street for pick up. But the streets are so lined with debris & brush, its definitely going to take awhile to get it a cleaned up! There are a ton of the retirement or senior living little neighborhoods here, and those and a lot of the sub-divisions like the one we live in have the white privacy fence around them. This week there were several places that started putting the fences back up. But there's still quite a but of clean up to do here. Which mall was that? Oh how i would love to go back & visit in Tennessee within the next couple weeks! Not only is it beautiful there right now but to have some nice cool weather would be awesome! I don't particularly care for freezing weather, but i would rather be cold than hot! I love the 50's, that's my fav temp range! And honestly, I will miss the snow.🫤 I just loved being in with the fireplace going and curling up with a hot cup of coffee watching it fall! The flakes are huge sometimes & absolutely gorgeous.. watching them fall was magical! I live was born & raised in NC& moved to TN 6yrs ago. So I've always had fall, just much more beautiful in TN. This will be the first year i haven't had a real fall in my lifetime! That's just crazy to think of. The red & orange is just stunning! Those really red maples like there by the water at 17:50..are 'Fire Maples’! We planted A nice size one on our property back in NC the year we moved there. It was all woods & we cleared just over an acre for the yard & planted the trees we wanted. It got really big before we sold the place. Such a stunning tree in the fall! Really nice airbnb! The nicest one we stayed in was in Naples 2yrs ago. It was gorgeous! On one side there were 1 really large king with a luxury on suite which was our room, one king & a hall bath, the other side had one king and one room with 3 bunks one shared bath. Plus we took air mattresses. A Huge living room with 2 pull out couches, really nice kitchen & big laundry room. A sun room & the pool out back was heated & had all the lights that turned colors. There was A gazebo & pic nic table with the round tree swing. Oh I just loved that place! We were there A week with our recovery home guys, 17 of us in total, for a church revival our supporting ministry was holding. We had A blast! I love your black booties! The chandeliers were gorgeous at the restaurant!😮 I love the big college bands. My husband & son are huge Minnesota Vikings football fans. They're coming to Jacksonville on the 10th & they've got their tickets! They've never been to a NFL game & seeing the vikings play has been my husbands dream! They've ordered crazy hats & different things, they both already had several tshirts & jerseys. But they're so excited! Lol hopefully they'll have some other Viking fans around them & not be a dot of purple in a sea of teal & gold!😬 So many gorgeous trees! I love maples in the fall! So glad you guys had a safe & fun trip! And thanks for sharing it with us😊 Pray you have a blessed weekend!🙏🏻

I just connected the dots. When my husband was in Marine flight school we had a friendship with another classmate and his wife. He talked a great deal about his college days and bragged all the time about “script Ohio” (which referred to their awesome band. So when you talked about the “Buckeyes” I didn’t relate until this beautiful video you showed us of the Ohio State University Band. Then I assumed that is wat our friend referred to as “Script Ohio”. Brought back a few memories from 1970.

I know the actual tear down was hard for your family. You can mentally prepare but the reality is hard. We lost our place in Suwannee during the Storm of the Century in the 1993. The clean up was so hard physically and mentally. Wet couches are heavy! A friend told me to start a log of where the sun is at what time of the day and next year I'd have a better idea of where to locate my plants. She was right!

I remember my mom would tell me, " One can never have enough friends," when I would discuss some disappointment I had had from one or another one of my friends. She would often say money can't buy love, but it is a good down-payment. We were doing dishes and a reporter on the news said it, so it kinda stuck with us. She was a very Holy Lady who raised 7 boys and one girl in a Avery cold winter and very hot summers in Labrador, NL. Awesome outdoor adventures there. It is becoming more touristy but in a very great way I just loved your time together with your friends. The kids welcomed you home with open arms and big smiles and hugs. So sweet! I am still praying hard for all of the victims from all of the floods. I also pray for world Pease. Diwali celebrations are the go. The fireworks sounds like a war zone. Other towns and cities have a bylaw I felt bad for your mom and dad as they leveled their home. I can sense the emotion in my heart and thoughts. I pray they can get supported and rebuild higher.❤
