I've become a fan since you mentioned JESUS CHRIST in a previous video. I find it so refreshing to hear a Christian speak their faith. I'm from Montana and we called the Mennonite community Hutterites. You are for me a little bit of home as I live in the south now. Thank you for your videos and keep bringing CHRIST up. It is uplifting to hear HIS name outside of church.

i believe Hutterites are Anabaptists with the same roots as Amish and Mennonites.

I can’t say enough how much I love the simplicity of Holmes County. There’s modern amenities, yes, but overall it’s very simple. Not crazy busy. Nobody rushing here or there. And the view from your grandparents home-GORGEOUS! Thanks for sharing.

I love this, and you and your family so much!! I have a question...why do you wear a black cap and I see so many others wear white ones? Back before Oaklynn, I thought maybe it was because you were married and your sisters were not. However, I now see that that's not the case. So I have great respect and I always have had for Amish and Mennonite etc, so this is just a very very polite question but I know that you're open to answering these things for us. It’s just preference for me at this point. I find it shows less dirt .. and I like black. However I used to wear white all the time :) the churches my sisters go to vary on their head coverings. Erica’s church decided to wear white veils. And Kara’s wear a lot of black. But I think they have the option to choose what they’d like to wear there as well.

Oh my gosh, Holmes County is so beautiful ! Its so different from Sarasota. It makes me just want to kick off my sandals and run thru the lush grass !
