Great family video. I heard somewhere that if you cut the bottom of the pumpkin instead of the toy, it stays longer too, and it’s easier to put the light in seeing how the pumpkin goes over the light. Congratulations

Congratulations! I remember when I first started watching a long time ago and wondered just out of curiosity why u had no children because I kept thinking what great parents y’all would make. Then I saw a video where jen posters that they couldn’t have any… then one day y’all got pregnant!!! And now a second . Amazing . I’m a labor and delivery nurse and see that happen a lot of times that couples for a very long time can’t conceive and then they finally do and then are able to conceive again! I never would have guessed! 🤣 I have 3 adopted children - first a girl and then a boy. When we were waiting for our 3rd who we “received” at a cocktail party (well, at least a picture) - we found out it was a girl! Long story short - we called home on speakerphone and told our two older children(5 and 3) and my son “burst into tears!!! “ He wanted a baby brother! Jackson will have so much fun with his brother to come! (Mine are now 29, 27 and 23) Enjoy it - it goes by fast! 🥰

My Dad was a police officer and always worked Halloween night, but he made it a tradition that he would help us do our pumpkin carving. This brought memories flowing back. We were either on garbage bags, newspapers spread out and sometimes both. He retired when I was 19, he wanted me to go trick or treating so he could take me around on Halloween night. Again, I was 19...I think I was 15 the last time I went. I did indulge him with dressing up and we both scared the kids that came to our door. He passed when I was 28. He has been gone almost 21yrs. Pelvic pain - jenn get a "slide sheet" for the bed. Amazon for around £10. It's a tubular silky sheet so you can turn over in bed without having to raise your hips. It saved me during my pregnancy and post partum xx

We dunk them in bleach to preserve them. I also cut the bottom out vs cut the top off. That way I just set the pumpkin over the candle/ light. It really helps when using a 🕯 then you won't risk burning your arm/ hand. There is also something you can do with the edges to keep them from curling in but I can't think of it off the top of my head. I love pumpkin carving.
