I’m a mail carrier for 16 years in March. And I’ve delivered in blizzards with 7 feet of snow and hurricanes and floods and I kept on delivering in 3 tornados. I could see it across the fields. Kept on trucking. Be kind to all delivery people they work really hard and not a lot people know how hard we work just to get a package or mail to you

Same here. Rural Carrier 16 years in January. I’ve also delivered in a blizzard, floods, ice storms. Believe it or not the motto"Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds" is not associated with the Post Office.

@kaspertillae68932 жыл бұрын
Absolutely. Consent is something that is soo important. Someone mentions mobility aids as well whether it’s a wheelchair or service dog, hands off! Adults will say to kids, “can you give (stranger) a hug?!” And I don’t like that either. It’s ok to assert boundaries if you don’t or do want to be touched!

I live Northeast of you guys in the oldest city in both FL and the USA as a whole, well St Augustine Beach, and yeah it was crazy having Ian just at the end of September and then just a couple weeks ago, here comes Nicole. Thankfully didn't lose power both times and all in all, it was just rain and wind constantly, however Downtown St Augustine was flooded as it usually is by hurricanes, having that bayfront right next to the fort, and I do feel for people in Fort Myers, Sanibel, etc for Ian, and now Wilbur by the Sea for Nicole, seriously that one house that just collapsed into the ocean, geez. Love your videos and all 3 of you, soon to be 4, hopefully Jen is doing okay.

It's such a miracle to have a baby growing inside us that I think sometimes people just want to feel that miracle and the happy emotions that it invokes. I don't think most people mean anything by it but having said that now days we have to respect people's feelings and now days we can't always trust some people in days gone by people were more trustworthy but unfortunately it's not that way now. We lost something along with that.

So… I was at a store and I was 85 lbs heavier than I am now.. and am a bit top heavy ( for lack of a better term) and the cashier asked me if I was “ ready to have that little thing” and poked me in my breast in front of a line of at least 6 people .. I was NOT, nor have I ever been pregnant.. it was quite humiliating.. so I cant understand strangers touching anyone, mothers or not. Jen you are a stronger woman than I am to understand a stranger feeling the need to not ask permission to put their hands on a person they do not know. she was older so I didn’t press the issue but.. it’s just.. you should never assume someone is pregnant OR wants to be touched ..

Jenn, have you talked with your obstetrics doctor to see if your round ligament pain is actually pelvic girdle pain (PGP) / symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD) instead? They can refer you to a pelvic therapist to try and minimize the pain during pregnancy and heal more quickly after birth. My pain was called round ligament pain during my 2nd pregnancy and wasn't acknowledged as PGP/SPD until 6 months postpartum 😬 At that point it took 3-4 months of pelvic therapy to provide relief and healing; my kiddo will be 6 years old next month - to this day I still have to be mindful about continuing to do strengthening/stabilizing exercises and also careful about sleeping positions. Wishing you the best of luck and a healthy pregnancy/postpartum 😊💙

Here in east central New Jersey, we had MUCH more rain from Ian than we did from Nicole, and about the same amount of wind with both, I think. God bless that mail person for bringing your mail in weather like that - I always tip my postal person at Christmas, and give them a card that says "thank you for dong what you do, ESPECIALLY n the bad weather". Goes for other service people too - like garbage men, my community transportation drivers, Amazon delivery people, UPs, etc. ALWAYS show my appreciation! I feel so badly for so many that have lost so much. :( Jenn - I also love Ken's dressings, especially the Greek! I'll think about you when I use it now! :) I've been a saltahlic, and have been my whole life. I TRY to do less, but am usually only successful for a little while. Even with people I know well, I would NEVER be rude, or presumptuous enough, to touch ANYBODY else's body, without asking first - EVER - pregnant or not, male or female. Hope the rest of your pregnancy continues to be healthy and happy, Jenn! Socially distanced hugs to the 3 (soon to be 4!!!!!) :) of you from New Jersey. Stay strong, stay positive, stay healthy!

Measurements at this time are not reliable because babies grow at different rates. For example, a baby who will be 8 lbs at delivery measures differently at 20 weeks than a baby who will be 6lbs at delivery- the weights are always estimates. The date we go by- I'm a L&D nurse of 31 years- are early pregnancy US- especially if done before 12 weeks. All babies are essentially the same in the first trimester- less accurate as the pregnancy progresses. There is always a +/- 2 week variable unless you know the EXACT day of conception like with AI. Your original due date is accurate and does not 'change'. If you have bigger babies, the US will give you a closer date- but that does not mean it is your actual EDC/EDD. Every week counts in fetal maturity- a 37 week 8lb can end up with breathing problems because they are actually 35/36 weeks but large for their age. Those can very often be the sickest babies. Just posting this if anyone reads comments because it is a common misconception- people get excited because they think they will be having their baby earlier...and earlier is not necessarily a good thing.
@JB285842 жыл бұрын
Also, the weight/measurements are estimated. My sister was told she would be having a large baby 8+lbs and my niece was 5lbs even 18 inches long. She was legit the size of a chipotle burrito lol I couldn’t understand how ‘off’ they were in their estimation of her size.
