90% of these clips where you would hear Sarah producing raspy vocals are completely “intentional”. She is capable of creating false hoarseness and texture in her voice without developing any damage/nodules in her throat. She uses various techniques such as vocal fry, intentional vocal breaks, airy singing, squeaks, growls, screams, and squalls to create a believable raspy/hoarse quality in her voice when the song requires her to. This is just one of Sarah’s many uniquely amazing skills as a vocalist. You would rarely hear a naturally smoothed voiced female vocalist in the country producing a natural-sounding raspy/husky voice whenever they want to. Vocal chameleon at very versatile singer si Sarah G. Yung isa na walang ganap pagtitili lang alam. Parang lahat ng kanta isang tunog lang.

Ilang vocal coaches, singers, concert producers ang napa ilib ni SG sa kanyang pagka versatile at vocal chameleon. Hangang2x sila dahil lahat daw ng genre pwedeng kantahin ni SG. Hindi lang daw ang pagkanta ng ibat ibang genre pero sabi nila convincing daw si SG sa ano mang genre na kinakanta niya. She is indeed a genre killer.

konti lang mga singers sa pinas na nakakagawa ng gantong textures while not losing yung style at yung class ng boses. 👏👏👏 galing pala nung raspy voice sa anak. di ako makapaniwalang boses nya yun.

She may sound like the original singers but there is a very distinct Sarah G voice in that sound.

@@PilgrimsClique I think the only clips here where she sounded kinda near to the original singers were "halik", "remember the time", and "dance monkey". the others sounded far from the original singers. she also still sounded like herself in those 3 clips despite channeling the original singers of those songs. in "chandelier", she actually sounded more like a raspy rihanna than the original singer, sia. but i do get your point tho. her voice is still very distinct. it's so easy to identify her even without looking at the video.

I love how she can make her voice raspy whenever she needs to. Her natural sounding growls are truly one of her strongest weapons too.

siya yung singer na kahit paos, kaya pa rin bumirit ng g5 ng walang bahid ng pagkamalat. pero pag nasa kondisyon at makinis ang boses, kaya din magtunog paos. genre killer talaga ang sarah gg!!
