In some clips, Sarah is just being casually chesty with her current mature chest voice. In other clips, she’s intentionally adding EXTRA thickness to the medium dark color of her voice by being hyperchesty, lowering her larynx, and slightly modifying the shape of her vowels. Her biggest advantage when producing this tone is that her voice is already naturally medium dark in color and lives in the Mezzo department. That’s why she does not always need to overdepress her larynx nor block her nasal resonance to produce an extremely dark Dramatic tone. Just a bit of extra chestiness and occasional slight retraction of vowels already gives her voice that big DRAMATIC Mezzo sound output ala-Cece Winans, Mahalia Jackson, Martha Wash, Amy Winehouse, & Shirley Bassey. In fact, even without retracting her vowels, she could already sound like Shirley Bassey, Sharon Cuneta, and even ANDROGYNOUS like Bamboo & Michael Jackson at times due to the natural color of her adult chest voice and the weight of her vibrato. She’s also capable of producing deep & compact low notes that resemble Amy Winehouse’ and Beyonce’s without sounding fake nor hollow. Producing a big Dramatic voice with booming dark middle belts that could cause an earthquake is one of Sarah’s unique strengths as a vocalist. And this is definitely one of the many reasons why she was dubbed as the GENRE KILLER. She is just so capable of morphing her voice into countless sounds and personalities.

Sya lang sa pinas yung kaya mag low notes at magpalaki ng ganyan na boses..hndi lang sya magaling bumirit magaling din sa low notes

To be fair, there are few female singers who can singer lower notes by accessing their lowest vocal placements. But what’s unique with Sarah’s voice is that she can project POWER, VOLUME, and THICKNESS in the 3rd and 4th octave without sounding HOLLOW nor DISCONNECTED to her natural chest tone. The ability to sing low notes and her lower mids with COMPACT FULLNESS & VOLUME without blocking her nasal resonance is what made her ability really unique and hard to replicate by most local female singers.

A talented singer can copy Sarah's style when singing high notes but not her low notes. It's uniquely hers.

I agree with her low notes sounding distinct and inimitable in the country, but I honestly have never heard anyone who was able to copy her belts too (both her mids and upper) especially when she’s being chesty. Her chesty belts just contain a distinct “thickness” that is hard to fake and replicate.
