The method is to pump about 15 times, close the valve when the fuel soaker is saturated, light the stove, wait until the preheat completes, slowly open the valve, by then, the drawing of fuel no longer requires pressure from the pump.

This is a great stove I have one I use camped out at work year round with its versatility I always can find something to burn through it mostly diesel fuel or saw gas but if I’m lucky and it’s not to cold out I have propane I carry into camp with me I just really like a one stove to cover all my bases it’s a little tricky to simmer on low with liquid fuel but if you let it heat up fully and then get the magic touch down it can be done but if you’re just heating water for warming up meals in baggies or freeze dried meals then it’s the ticket especially in winter when the canisters stop working

You didn’t let it heat up long enough before you started to let fuel out. They are a good little stove. I like to use methanol. But you really did make a dog’s dinner off starting it. You just need to slow down and let preheat

Great review. Very important that a stove burn all sorts of old fuel. Two questions: A] How effecient the stove is compared to other stoves you tested. Also important because in a emergency you want your fuel to last as long as possible. B] Does the stove need a lot of cleaning when burning diesel?

Known as a BRS on some markets, don't know about the USA

The bottle is BRS, but I have not seen the stove made with a BRS label.

I was not able to use it with propane, because the valve leaks propane, its not really airtight for GAS

I would prime diesel and kerosene with alcohol, possibly white gas which ever is easier to find

Absolutely 💯 correct. You need to be smarter than the equipment you are trying to operate! You can tell he can’t read directions or he can’t comprehend what they are saying and retain it long enough to use it. Sad.

damn. you light this stove the wrong way. If you dont have a wick then use a small cloth or cottonball. Prime it with your fuel (less than a teaspoon) and light it up. Let it warm up before you slowly open for more fuel. And you should have a high pressure in your fueltank before you open. If you fill it to max then it is good with 20 pumps. With a half full you should pump about 50 times. You can feel the right pressure. The stove should not soot at all.
