I enjoy the look of these dense apartment towers from the exterior, but man they're rough on the inside. Which seems strange being that they're less than a decade old.

Amazing as always bro! So informative! These apartments are really affordable! 2100/2000 is very affordable. The ladies were so helpful right through the end. In clean and nice environments wow! You definitely deserve more recognition man! ✊🏾

When you consider the majority of factory/rural workers earn just under 3000Yuan/month, this is not so affordable is it

Yeah, the wages in China can be relatively low. Sometimes I don’t know how the people have disposable income to go out and enjoy themselves

When I lived in China my hobby was genuinely apartment hunting. Even when I had an apartment if I had a spare half a day I’d nip into a Lianjia and ask them to take me to see some apartments. I’ve seen hundreds over the years. Side note, apartment hunting in Qingdao was a pain in the arse to find an apartment for me because the landlords didnt want a tennant in summer so they could rent to the holiday market at higher rates. My rent was 3600 for a 1 bedroom in 福州路.

You can definitely find some great apartments next to the sea. The video was filmed in Sifang about 20 minutes from downtown so there are definitely nicer apartments. Just wanted to show an everyday place. I can imagine, a lot of people use Airbnb over the summer especially in the Laoshan area. Glad you enjoyed the video and good to hear you’ve been to the city 👊🏻

what some fresh paint would do to these places, I guess the expense is not worth it for them, but would make these places look 100% better.

Wow! It's kind dangerous to have an electrical appliance such as a washing machine in a s shower room.

I thought that too, and looking how they are plumed into looked a little DIY,

I am Chinese. It’s very common in China, some residents even put them in open balconies. We never had any problems. Because there’s some kind of water proof design, it’s a common practice in China

Those look a lot better than the ones around my area, and by the looks of it have a community that cares for each other etc. Where i live you cannot leave a scooter like that for 5 mins, and it will be away. All could do with bloody good clean inside and a refurb, the thing that gets me is how little the washing machines are. But then again space is limited. For those prices, i think we would be all laughing in the uk. Everyone could afford a home of some sort.

those buildings look so old and dark :/ however for the price i think its worth and a little fixing up it might not be so bad

Yeah, they do right. The outside always look much worse than the inside. I guess in China they’re built quickly as they need to fill the homes. Have to take the good with the bad I guess. There are much nicer places downtown though

The 2,000 RMB apartment looks really poor, the stove is very dirty, and the corridor is very dark. If foreigners really want to move in, they will have to hire a cleaning company to do a thorough cleaning.

I am interested in buying land in China in case civil war broke out in America, so.. what are the price and rules and regulations to be landowners in China...?
@avilesandresАй бұрын
you cannot "own" land in china, the government owns all the land, you can lease it for 70 years, after that the government either take it back or extends the lease
@peaceleader7315Ай бұрын
@avilesandres wow.. that is brilliant..!! I wish we could have that in the west.. what is the average price for a 70-year lease for a medium-sized house and land package within the suburban..?

I love the idea of you own nothing and be happy 😊.. it is a true reality of our socialism_communism economic system when ownership is no more.. and means of production, and wealth distribution are totally on the hands of innovation and not human serfdom.. hmmmm.. yet the nominations of leadership are democratic based system..😊 and yeah within a one world governance structure... on behalf of human species interests.. hmmmm.. that would be an ideal society 👌.
