PARK GORKYOVO!!!! That was the place my dad (RIP) used to take me for birthdays and other celebrations, I loooove it. I was born in Kharkiv and I will never forget that place. I love it so so much. I'm so glad you got to experience it too, although it is mostly built in a soviet style that is very insecure. But I didn't know that as a kid and I enjoyed it TO BITS. That was my highlight every year. I miss going there, after moving to europe. It's better here, but I still miss my soviet shit. I've been there since it was redone and it was so surprisingly safe and such a nice experience. I'm so happy you got to live through that. I love that place so much, my happiest memories from my childhood are tied to it. Also, that's the place I had my first and only corn dog. Not even kidding.

Park Gryshko in Kyiv has 50 UAH entrance fee and it doesn`t have even a half of attractions that Gorky park has. This park was many times awarded with best place in Ukraine by TripAdvisor and I am fully agreed with that. As a Ukrainian, I assure you, this place stands out from everything that was built in Ukraine, after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
