Mercedes factory trained tech here, these things are actually quite reliable. No real common faults on these so when they do have an issue it’s usually a one off thing. I bought a used one recently with almost 50k miles and it feels just as nice as the brand new ones

I suppose it's good other than gas cover panel flying off, mode switch breaking, AC vent breaking, center console hinges breaking, cupholders breaking, the fake Siri sucks, not to mention the low power/constant turbo whine... this, my friends, gives Buick a run for is money.

how about the 2020 gle 450?
@SilverGts932 ай бұрын
@@Zzzziiiiiggggg the 450 power train so far has been pretty reliable as well. I’ve only seen a few faults which are engine harnesses getting brittle but not very common, and these have a 48v mild hybrid systems that sometimes requires more software updates. I hardly see the 48v battery go bad but they can go bad and they can be expensive to replace. Otherwise it’s a solid powertrain

@@Zzzziiiiiggggg The engine is reliable. Everything else falls apart. You will hate your 2020 Mercedes Benz. It's not the worst car. It's just a very expensive car that you end up driving around with everything broken because you can't deal with another month in the shop.

The mileage is too high 56,000 miles for 2020 car, not even four years old???
@Caddylovrr693 ай бұрын
People who can afford these new lease them for a reason. When the warranty is up buyers beware. When problems occur you have no warranty and you most likely have a hefty car payment. These cars are also full of sensors they are almost everywhere and they burn out and you will have a Christmas tree of dash lights on. You also can’t really take this to your average mechanic shop they don’t want to touch them so get ready for dealership pricing. Lease or pass

Remember for oil change it’s costly, keep in mind if this has a turbo then u will be doing oil changes more due to ware and tear on the turbo .

I guess this is impressive if youve never owned a premium vehicle but aside from the sunroof close voice command a 04 Acura TL can take voice commands too. Theres so many maintenance horrior stories for this model

It's true I bought GLE 2021-350 for 34k with 31k miles and it's the best family I ever had, my kids really love it every time we go long trips , i had Lexus GX 460-2019, rx350-2020, BMW x5 2017, MDX 2015 never good as GLE . Love love ... why we must throw money for Toyota Honda Nissan brand new ??

Nice video but a used 2020 GLE350 is NOT a $30K car at this time. (November 2024) I just purchased a 35K mile very high spec 2020 GLE350 and it was closer to $40K. 50K mile cars were around $36K at this time. (These are CPO cars, so the MBZ warranty adds a small amount to the price.) Higher milage cars can possibly be purchased for the low $30K range. So far extremely impressed with my GLE350! It looks and drives like new and has a ton of cool tech and features.

I've owned one for 5 months. Everything breaks. The upholstery, anything with a plastic hinge, anything with a knob or switch. It all breaks. This car is a piece of junk. If you're looking for a total piece of sh*t to drive, but you've also done well in life, Mercedes Benz has you covered.
