@@EmpireSafaris thanks. Most of the shots in this video were Hornady precision hunter 200gr, I’ve since changed to federal terminal ascents 200gr, and couldn’t be happier with their performance. Yip that Rusa stag was a massive loss, that was the reason for me getting a dog.

@ not a drop of blood, there was marks of it dragging its back legs for about 50m then it just stood up and walked off by the look of it.

The way that Rusa stag acted after the shot id say high neck shot ive seen it pleanty of times and unless you shoot the deer again most often they get up and go and you find very little blood and no deer .

@@MichaelHill-kc5vs possibly, I was aiming behind the shoulder, but potentially could have been a flyer. I could never get a decent group with that load, always had a flyer in a 5 shot group.
