The river Ise will burst it's banks, flood the land around then effect the river Nene at Wellingborough and west along the Nene towards the wash.

Council's never work for the local folk, all they do is make life that little bit worse. It adds insult to injury, when you look at the junction for Finedon & Burton, more shed's are going up, smells of corruption at a high level.........

I grew up playing in those fields and river. Look how flooded it is ... and there's hardly been any rain. I remember seeing the whole area flooded as a lake well before the A14 was built? (I remember when it was a railway with Ivatt 2-6-0's.)

Never heard the hospital rumour and have lived in Kettering/Burton for 37 years. All I've heard is the planners did traffic surveying before it was passed and said there would be little to no traffic impact from this warehouse site 😂

Thats apparently up on the land near Mcdonalds . This is warehouses for something completely different and this bypass is only a duel carriageway along part of this road so Isham will end up haveing tons more traffic trying to get through .

HI Purple, thanks for this. Well, levelling up?, it's enough to make my Cat laugh!. all this Development has been going on in one form or another since the 1970s, when i lived there it was a permanent building site, Motorways, Milton Keynes, Warehousing, etc one time you could walk and explore between towns and villages but by the 80's all the land was going so i got out. Political and short-sighted decision making i'm afraid. Sorry for the rant, still makes me annoyed all these years later!.

No bud your well in your right to rant just as I have done about this site. It's a joke. Your not wrong though from the 70's things got heavy with building. Half of wellingborough was built during that time and the wellingborough lakes area ruined by gravel extraction. I hate it
