Built your cart last week. Mine doesn’t look quite as nice but it’s a tank and will definitely fulfill its intended purpose. Good design and straightforward instructions. Just stacked about $300 of new plywood on it today for my next project. Seeing as how I’ll be using new stuff as opposed to leftovers, I’m gonna try to up my game a tad. 🙂

How's she goin'? Nicely done Martin!!! This is a great storage rack for sheet goods. And I really like how versatile it can be for storing materials. And it's nice that you used materials you had on hand to make it. I'm drooling when I see all the wall space now too. Nice job and thanks for sharing your ideas!!! Take care!!!

Thanks, Mike! Yep, I was glad I could make it from stuff I had on hand, except for the casters. Very glad to have that wall freed up too! But it won’t stay blank for long! Thanks for watching!

That's really cool, Martin. Now that Fall is almost here and the rainy days are coming back to WA I'm going to move my implements back to inside the shop. I'm going to create a few dollies based on your specs for other dollies you've made. I don't have a need for a cart like this one, but we really enjoyed watching your video as a family (as usual!). Thanks for sharing again!

Thanks, David! You’ll love having your implements on dollies. It’s so nice to be able to just roll them up to the tractor and hook up, especially with the Pat’s Easy Change system. Glad to know that watching my videos is a family activity! Thanks for watching!

I love a man who takes pride in his projects and wants to build them to millimetre precision, as we say in the UK. I am exactly the same too. This is a great tool to have. I was actually going to make something similar, but not mobile, for my plywood outside and using pallet top panels for the vertical part and pallets for the base. The plywood is only old battered stuff I pick up from building sites, that I would use for jobs where it would only get battered more or for projects that aren't important to look good and when they get too badly beaten up or start rotting, they get used for firewood in our home. I first looked at your PTO maintenance video, as i needed to remind myself how you take them apart, but then I saw this video and needed to watch it too. My name is Martin as well. 😁

Hello Martin! Always a pleasure to meet another me! 😄 Thank you for the kind words. Yeah, I can see where it would be pretty easy and fast to make a plywood storage rack or cart out of pallets. Good idea! Thanks for watching!

Good idea! I am working in my wood workshop in the back, starting to organize a bit. I haven't unpacked the boxes since we moved in a year ago!!! That is one thing I plan on making. Maybe just one side of this cart in my case. Thanks!

Great build, Martin. Heaving the loaded cart makes for a good workout, doesn't it? Enjoyed a full-watch. Imagine carrying piece-by-piece around to your work area. The cart makes for a tireless task but you do now have a nicely cooled work area. You're definitely customizing your work area into a precisioned workshop. Have a fine week, my friend. 👍🏽🙂 Don

Thank you, Don! Usually, I build my wood project right in front of the cart and wood rack, so the cart won’t be moved often. It’s more about being able to find the piece I’m looking for and the cart will make that much easier. Hope you have an excellent week too!

Hi Marty! Yes, it was heavier than I expected when loaded. And yes, I do but now that I can easily find pieces I’m looking for I’ve already used some of it, so it’s getting lighter as time goes on. I doubt I’ll ever have it that full again. Thanks for watching!

Nice build. Have u thought about adding fixed wheels to the center. This is typically done on large toolboxes and makes it easier to move with the load spread out amongst 6 wheels.

@@DIYMyWay You're welcome Martin. Love your videos on mods for the tractor. I followed the one for the light install with adding a relay and fuse box works great. Since the L models don't come with a rubber floor mat I took off the floor plates and the cover in the middle. Prepped it and sprayed them with pickup truck bed spray on liner. Not sure if you have already done this but with the backhoe off the tractor check to make sure the hydraulic lines are tight on the backhoe. On my backhoe the the right swing cylinder hydraulic line loosened up and poured out about a gallon of fluid before I noticed it. Thought there was a major problem until I saw what it was. Have a good day, looking forward to the next video
