Irish here, can tell you between now and in 100 years this will NEVER come to fruition. Property developments are extremely restricted and are some of the most anti-high-rise in Europe. Even if Dublin will likely be home to 60% of the country's future population (estimated to be around 9 million by 2100) this would only be inhabited by the few super rich here or sold to foreign investors and/or tenants. Most people here cannot even afford to rent decent accommodation to begin with as Dublin's cost of living is almost on par with London's, with fewer opportunities and a very high cost of living.

Why not just live in a real suburb? Its obviously "cool" as a concept but practically, if i wanted a family home in a quiet neighborhood i wouldn't pick a family home in an expensive highrise. No way that'll be cheaper than the alternative
