Some tips I have! How to ensure you’re tired by 9/9:30 - wake up early, like 6am. Even if you don’t workout the first day, just wake up and stay up at 6, by the time 9 comes around, you’ll be tired and can get up early again the following morning! How to get your workout in in the morning - have your clothes picked out, and cut out anything extra morning steps you can the night before (picking work outfit, prepping lunch, setting the coffee maker) How to get through your workday post morning workout - hydrate and don’t over do it on caffeine to compensate for maybe being more tired early on You got this!! And of course, don’t beat yourself up 💕

I do a mix of morning and night workouts! I work 9-5 (usually stay until 5:15-5:30) and it takes 20-30 min to get to my gym after work. I was starting to get burnt out going to the gym every night and feeling like I never had time at home. I started incorporating a mix of both and it's been the best! I work out in the evening M,W,Th and the morning T,Fri! I go to my gym at 6:45 (workout 6:45-8:15, shower, leave by 8:40 for work!) on Tuesdays and then Friday I take a barre class at 5:45am-6:45am so I still have a full morning at home before work! - Tips for morning workouts - sleep in your workout clothes/have them right by your bed, I personally drink a celsius before morning workouts for energy, and look forward to that treat and find it helps me with energy! Be patient with yourself! I have learned to LOVE morning workouts and the feeling of getting so much done so early!

Hey Michelle! The last two years i've been working out during the nights only. between 7pm to even 11 pm lifts. The last three months i've transitioned to waking up at 4 am and getting to the gym between 4:30-5 am workouts. Honestly...pre workout to get my started and a good nights rest before to help wake me up. And noticing how much more time I get in the day for other things or less to worry about once I get it done. Working out de-stresses me too, I just think it's all in the mental shift in how you go about the transition. You got this!

waking up at 5am is pretty life-changing - it alters your schedule in the sense that you will need to be in bed by 9pm and asleep by 9:30pm. Waking up at 5am also ensures you have a productive morning, it allows time to not feel rushed, stressed or anxious before work. Work takes up the majority of your day and then when you get home you have a nice three hours to unwind, study your Bible, rest and shower. But yea - I started waking up early because I began working at a Coffee Shop and it completely changed my life. Waking up early when nobody else is awake allows you to be productive and get things done without a lot of noise, distraction or competition. It's very clearing.

I was the exact same way. I used to only do late night workouts. I swore that I hated morning workouts. I still enjoy night workouts because of the stress relief it provides-you can kinda just sweat away the day. But, the morning workouts allow me to get so much more done! It makes me feel so productive and really clears my head before the day. Tips are: Don’t do anything before you workout, just change and go Have something to look forward to when you get home! I look forward to the protein shake I make when I get home for breakfast- and it’s economically more feasible because I get to reduce the cost of a meal essentially (versus at night I just add it on top of my third meal)

I love that you are working out in the mornings! I’ve started doing that and it feels AMAZING. A few tips: - make sure to get to bed early enough so that you can get up early. I’ve started reading before going to sleep and it really helps! Also I got this app called Abide that does guided prayers you can fall asleep to which I would definitely recommend since you struggle with insomnia! - set out your workout clothes the night before. This will motivate you in the morning to actually do it! Stretch before and after your run :) - listen to your body. If you really aren’t feeling it, don’t do it! But also push your self sometimes and do it even if you don’t feel like it! Keep us updated on your workouts in the mornings! 😊❤️

I love working out in the morning and actually prefer to do so!! I have a full packed day so I have no time to do it if I don’t do it early. When my alarm goes off at 650 I immediately make myself jump up out of bed. If I get cozy or hit snooze it won’t happen. I lay out my clothes the night before so it’s super fast to get ready and I see them out so it motivates me more. I chug water when I get up too for hydration before my workouts. Then after I brush my teeth I head right out. I always remind myself I’ll feel so much better coming home at night knowing it’s already done and it honestly wakes me up for the day and gives me energy. Especially finishing with a protein shake and cup of coffee!! I read a few motivational quotes too and plan my workout before I sleep so my mindset is right. Hope this helps (:

I starting working out in the mornings before school because it just made sense and this is what I do: I set out my workout clothes and my AirPods before I go to bed so I have no excuses and I see them when I wake up. When my alarm goes off, I get right up even if I don’t want to because if I don’t, I will not get up lol. I find that working out in the morning makes me more awake in the morning and I feel energized in the morning. It also makes me tired around 8:30 pm though so I get more in the routine of waking up early and then going to bed early. I overall think like you said that working out in the morning makes me less stressed at night because it’s one less thing I have to do at night and I feel more accomplished when I’ve worked out. Hope this helps a bit!

see i like morning workouts because it puts me in a good mindset and I get so sleepy throughout the day. tips would be to definitely have everything ready to go and cloths by your bed you can just slip into. In my head it gets me up and going and if I work out in the morning then I can shower and get ready for the day. It is also nice because by the evening I forget that I worked out and its not even on my mind as another to-do.

Hi! I also work a marketing job in nyc from 9-6 and my best tip for working out in the morning, other than going to sleep early, is to continuously remind yourself of the times that you wish you could have worked out at night but instead did social things (which is totally fine)!! For me, knowing that I already worked out in the morning and felt accomplished powers me and what gives me energy all day. Also, if you’re trying to cut caffeine (like me) drinking one cup right after working out and sticking to tea or decaf coffee/tea at work truly makes the day better. Trust me you will still be tired at night and then you will go to sleep early all over again lol
