The best part of this scene wasn’t included. Right after Roy is taken to bed, Alice is in the kitchen and says: “I had the spaghetti and I feel fine” and proceeds to open the refrigerator, step inside and close the door. The next morning Alice steps out of the fridge and says: “the light really does go out when you close the door” and continues on like nothing ever happened.

I spent one weekend tripping with Peter Brady and his friends at Esalen in Big Sur. A groovy time. We drove back to Santa Monica singing all the songs from the rock musical "HAIR." What a bummer when Monday came around and I had to go back to my serious job as a technical advisor on the Corky Walton Show.

It always gives me a laugh when I think how much this film and its predecessor were marketed as family friendly movies. Yet, both films are loaded with dirty jokes. Many of which are obvious to adults, and fly right over the kids heads. Underrated comedy gems. This is why I love the 80s and 90s. You could get away with so much when it came to risqué humor in non-R-rated films.

When I was a little kid, I had no idea what this part was about. Now a few years after taking mushrooms, I laughed my ass off to this. By the way, mushrooms is way more incredible, this was just Hollywood mixing it up with comedy and psychedelic drugs. 😁
