Those interior shots are stupendous! I ended up with a Nikon 35Ti because I like that I can quickly see my settings on the dial on the top deck and it has that Nikon Matrix meter. And I can select aperture and distance if I want. Happy shooting.

The Olympus AF-1/Infinity or Pentax PC35AF are cheaper options with similar capabilities. No shame or dismissing the Contax, but you can get into a similar realm if your budget is a little more modest. I love the Olympus, and the internet has taught me that there is a version with flash control. Thank you Vuh as always for an accepting POV from within the community.

I had a Contax T3 around 6 years ago that I couldn’t justify holding onto. You hear the horror stories about them breaking and I ended up selling it. Insane how much the price as increased since then - I think I originally paid $900 for it. If folks are looking for a digital equivalent to this camera I would highly recommend the Ricoh GR.

A little trick my dad does while snowboarding is have a small pouch on his leg down around his ankle, this keeps the weight off of your back and makes everything easier to get. He puts lunch and some tools in there for his bindings, but It would be an awesome place to put a small camera to get candid photos.

Jump on an Olympus XA2! Beautiful, sharp, rangefinder style with zone focus, and super small. The XA is the same size/form-factor, but with fully manual controls. You can get em for about $40 each and people are just SLEEPING on them.

XA‘s and XA2’s are actually going for a lot more nowadays. Covid has brought the price of everything up since everyone is looking for new hobbies and both cameras seem to be going for well over $100 on eBay right now.

Don't take this the wrong way...but at time frame 0.30 you reach for and brandish that camera as though it were something that could be thought of as reaching for a gun, you might want to reconsider that move particularly whilst outside .

Homie. You should check out the the fujifilm natura black 1.9. Yep you heard that right. 1.9 aperture on a p&s camera. Also has this wild mode called NP mode. Imo the ideal p&s camera. Sadly only made for Japan lol

Vuh you should try olympus telemetric cameras, I bought a 35 UC and it's amazing for the price. Also spot metering is awesome and it also has automatic mode (no AF). Keep doing this dude!

Good video dog keep it up. I really think you'd save money on the long run and get consistent looking tones if you scanned your shots yourself. An epson scanner, silverfast, and negative lab pro is worth it.

Depends on your budget but my Olympus XA does the job pretty well, if you’re looking for something more point and shooty the Fuji cardia Mini is pretty reasonably priced and super small

*Nikon 35ti* , hands down, without question, on my grandmother's tits--has the best meter in all point & shoots. 1. Nikon 35ti 2. Minolta tc-1 3. Leica Minilux _Hard pass on Contax_ , just my opinion. Cannot justify the price. Especially if you don't baby your tools. Great video
