I started using EveryDollar to budget and it has TRANSFORMED my life. I highly recommend that budget system. It takes a couple of months to get used to it, I started in Nov but now I'm a pro. :) I've only spent $5 on takeout this month hahah saved so much $

Yasss HARDEST lesson I had to learn with my acne that came out of nowhere and went 0 to 100 was less is more!! Social media made me feel like I needed so much but honestly wash face double cleanse at night and moisturizer is legit it and my skin is finally back to normal! I truly hope it works for you cause I know that struggle all to well and it sucks!!

As an acne-prone girl, YES less is more! I use a bar of dove sensitive soap on my face now (really good score on Yuka if you care). But I simplified my routine and my skin has never been better!

Throw everything out and try the entire clear stem skin care line. The clear skin line particularly. It will change your life! That along with their supplements have helped so much. Also use clear stems poor clogging ingredient checker. I had to throw out 80 of my makeup because it had pore clogging ingredients. I swear listening to the founders on a few podcasts changed my skin.

For the office space you should limewash like a tan color or something light and airy since you’ll be in there a lot!! Limewash would make it look so cool and chic!! Especially with the new desk!!

I LOVE the CeraVe cream-to-foam cleanser. I feel like it works really well for all skin types because it actually cleans your skin without drying it out.

If you are trying to go natural with your face routine, I would suggest making a homemade clean face wash, using thayers rose scented witch hazel as a toner, and a natural oil for a moisturizer. Like organic rosehip oil or organic castor oil. This helped my acne a ton!!

For acne-prone skin, I would recommend including a chemical exfoliant to remove dead skin from your pores and keep them clear. Paula’s Choice 8% AHA gel is very gentle for daily use and 2% BHA a few times a week with a gentle cleaner and moisturizer has been great for my acne personally. Hope this helps! Would also be interested to hear about the car situation!!

Silent listener here but idk why everyone’s getting so worked up about you talking about budgeting and then you’re spending money on things. First of all, I think it’s amazing that you are being real and honest about it. Second of all, if what you’re doing now, and you’re still spending less than you normally do, then I would say that is definitely budgeting. Sometimes it’s hard to just cut off spending Right away. It happens over time. You’re amazing, keeping you!💗💗

What worked for me for acne… being consistent even when it sucks! I’ve been using the same products for >1.5 years now and my skin has been consistently better! Personally I use cerave moisturizer and spf and then use ZO skin cleanser, toner, exfoliator. I have very very dry skin and before I would over moisturize but I realized sometimes exfoliation is what I needed! I also take spironolactone from my dermatologist and get hydrafacials every couple months.

Okay. It is so interesting that you said your knee was kind of going bum on you, because I have a very similar situation. I’m 26, and when I was 16, I hyperextended my knee and tore both of my meniscuses, my acl, and mcl. I am also very active, and as of like 3 months ago it started bothering me. So I went and got an mri on it, and get my results tomorrow actually. I watch your videos and was curious if you were going to touch on it. I also have issues with quad because I think we are using so much squat and force that it just causes more irritation. But I get it. But also, 10 years has gone by. There has been a lot of wear and tear and activity! I hope everything works out well for you though! Good luck!

What kind of ACL surgery did you have though? You mentioned your quad was bothering you? Was it a quad graft? My son had a quad graft. It’s been 3+ years and his knee has and never will be the same. He used to be a baseball catcher and he just can’t do it anymore. He plays 3rd and pitcher.

Had “hormonal acne” that was very cystic. Stopped picking my face and started washing with water. Then moisturized. Everything stopped. I think any cleanser will disrupt your natural oils, even the “gentle” ones. I’ve watched you for years and my heart sinks every time you list more products you’re trying. I think your skin is telling you to stop.

Girl, the reason you get so many pimples is because you touch your face so damn much. I'm watching this vlog and I can see you just rubbing on your face, THIS is what causes most pimples.
