When you were talking about it, and literally wanted to vomit, it reminded me so much about all the disgust I felt as well. 5 years ago I might have push through all that vilainy but today (I'm 32) I cannot stomach that stuff, and being a mother adds another layer of disgust but also anger so let's go for the fluffy shall we ?

Oh damn 😭😭😭not three times!!!! I literally thought it was going to be like the movie, maybe a tad bit darker. Boy, I was FOOLED and quickly humbled. 😂 Yeah I agree, my younger self would have pushed through, but now I just can’t do it at all. I genuinely don’t know how anyone could torture themselves by reading it. Oh wow, yeah I couldn’t even imagine being a parent and reading it as well. I would feel so many types of ways. Haha you can’t beat fluffy books ❤😂

It’s nice to see vlogs of just normal day to day life with casual reading, it’s relatable. It’s especially nice to see one from someone with a chronic illness, it can be hard not to compare or overestimate my capabilities when watching KZbin.

Yes to more vlogs!! It's funny I always find when I stop filming a vlog, it feels strange to go about a day without filming! I just checked and I read Push in 2015. I know exactly what you're talking about. Books are so powerful in how they can affect our moods. When you picked it up after not enjoying weird f's, I was thinking oh no!! So glad you finished with the Emily Henry. One thing I did wonder was why you kept weird f's on your shelves as you didn't like it? I almost enjoy giving those books away!! Really great vlog 💛

Enjoyed the vlog! I’ve only attempted to read two of Sapphire’s books. Push and The Kid. The Kid’s main character was Precious’ son. I was able to make it through Push, The Kid was extremely disturbing and I couldn’t finish it. I only made it through a couple chapters.
