Video idea: What if items such as the griseous orb or Arceus' plates functioned the same as the Gracidea, e.g. were key items that one applied to the corresponding Pokémons to change their form? How would e.g. DPP Ubers and other formats change if stuff like Giratina-O had a free item slot? Edit: I was on the go and couldn't watch the video before I commented this because this is a subject that I am very invested in. So I only saw through the comments that my comment streak has been acknowledged. Thanks, BKC!

watching this as someone who got into the competitive pokemon scene proper around this time (though mostly as a spectator thanks to my lack of consistent computer access in high school) is activating some major nostalgia for me. i used to know about you as a guy who was mentioned in joey and blunder vids, and now being an adult (25! where have the years gone) and watching your stuff is like. it's both nostalgia for something i enjoyed, and for something that never quite happened for me even though if the stars aligned another way it could've. man your thoughts and commentary on a two month old video have me deep thinking at 2am.

I really felt that whole nostalgia, itss succor and its perils intro. Super interesting and I think it would be very good for offensive teams. Imagine being able to set up DD tar on an EQ locked Dugtrio or Mence for example. The ability to navigate opposing offense to gain free turns would be very interesting for some teams. It's not something that would shape the meta around it, but It sure as hell would have it's place just like Lum Berry

No way. Finch stated it best in a recent twitter post, "Shaymin sky will never be allowed in OU again." Too fast, too good coverage, too many tools. Seed flare alone makes it basically unstoppable offensively.
