Leaving my hometown was the best thing I ever did for myself. I also knew no one where I moved, but I was able to meet some of my best friends here! It also strengthened my relationship with my parents immensely. It is so hard to leave everything you've ever known behind, but it truly is so worth it. Like you said, if you don't like it, you can always move back! I say definitely try it!!!

From experience I’ll let you know that there is quite literally no cons to making this kind of move. It’s a blessing to have access to a property somewhere else that you don’t need to pay for. A huge detractor from moving is simply the logistics like finding a place to live and affording life somewhere else. With that off the plate, there really is no downside. You have a place to come back to if you don’t want this to be permanent. Just commit to a summer trial there and test it out.

for me personally that would be such a tough decision, leaving everything i ever knew along with my childhood dog that would be a dealbreaker alone for me😢 but from an outsiders perspective it sounds like you've already made your mind up and i wish you all the best!❤️
