I like her character but i don't think she has gotten enough character development for me to put her in crewmate. Her introduction was pretty sudden. Who knows, i still need to reread Wano so my opinions might change. There is a lot more behind her character and i feel a lot of development can still be done with her in terms of story.

I always feel sorry for Sanji because he's such an amazing character but out of everyone he was chosen by Oda to be the pervert character. 😭 (Because In every shonen anime/manga in the 90s there was a pervert character, it was a very popular trope just like the trope of main character being dumb and loves to eat and the female character who loves hitting the main character) and i wonder if Oda didn't choose to make him a pervert he would have easily become my favorite character in the story. I just love everything about him especially that when I watched the show as a kid dubbed in Arabic, they used to cut those scenes where he was acting like a simp/pervert so i never knew he was a pervert and that helped me appreciate him as a character more.

I just don't understand why Oda feels like he has to go so far into the pervert trope. LIke OK yeah you can make him a simp for women and have that be his flaw, but he could just leave it at that and not go into the whole creepy, predatory, groping, over the top, "making women uncomfortable and comrpomising their feeling of safety is a joke" thing. Thank goodness for the liva action showing us how good Sanji could actually be!

If it’s not obvious form my pfp, Corazon is also my favorite character so I could not agree more with the placement of him. Also, I have the same issues with Enel that you do, I was consistently extremely annoyed that no one actually died from his lightning. It’s honestly comical how many people took took hits from him and ended up just fine. I think he could have been a great and intimidating villain, but the tension was absolutely killed by how nonlethal he turned out to be.

I feel like Vivi is such an underrated character. Tbh, I think Vivi really shaped who Luffy was as a captain. In Drum Island, Luffy was ready to go fighting, just like any pirate crew would interact, but Vivi setting Luffy's priorities straight and get him to humble himself I believe set the tone of greeting new people. Also, I think if this didn't happen, Idk if Luffy would've bowed his head down to Hammock to free Margarette. Although I think Jinbe would be a decent navigator. I mean, he captained the Fishman Pirates and he even knows the sea currents and everything.

I didn't see Vivi in that light but that's a good point. I like her because she's one of the few princess (or kind/"innocent" woman) who puts efforts and even risks her life for her country. This type of character usually have good intentions and rely on others to take action since they're weak. Vivi couldn't do much since she's not strong but I respect her for going undercover to gather more information and giving her best. I prefer her as a Strawhat member than Yamato.

I really admired her when she didn't do anything to Wapol for slapping her because she knew that she represents Alabasta and her actions can harm the people of Alabasta. She knew if she did anything, it would become an international incident. The Yamato thing is your preference, but I don't consider Yamato a Princess. Otama for princess of Wano XD although for princess of Wano, that's Hiyori.

Buggy isn’t high enough. We need a separate God tier at the very top just for him. Robin, Doflamingo and Hancock are my favourite characters at the moment. I slept on Jimbei for so long. I didn’t dislike him, but he wasn’t that high up on my favourite characters list. Hearing Merphy’s love for him over this last year made me realise just how good he is though and he’s now moved way up to probably my top 10-15 favourite characters list. Hawkins was a top 5 character for me upon his introduction in Sabaody just based on his abilities and character design. I thought he was pretty cool and I was waiting for him to get focus for so long. I still want to really like him but I just don’t think he got enough to do in Wano to justify keeping him that high up as much as I really want too. 😂

enel lowkey one of the strongest in the series purely of his df but it is just incredibly unlucky for him that luffy had the one df power that makes his one completely ineffective, the rest of the crew at that time didn't stand a chance and enel showed very good observational haki (mantra) back then as well, his cover story was really cool and i would like to see him return to the story if we can at one point

I feel like I'm in the minority of people who like Ace. Take marineford for example, most of the time I hear people say, "Ace dieing was sad but I'm more upset that Luffy lost his brother" I'm the opposite I was narratively thrilled that for the first time Luffy straight up loses, not a setback, not a I'll come back stronger and win, he just loses, but I was absolutely devasted that it had to come at the cost of Ace's life.

Ladies just love Perona and Law and there's plenty of good reasons. I don't know how anyone can not love Shyarly. Big Fortune Teller Shark Lady. Hard to find a better character roulette combo than that. I know Big Mom never got the deep Text dive or in-control page-time many of us wanted, but despite the Cake Rampage and not getting as thorough an exploration as she could have I still love her. She supplanted Doflamingo as my favorite villain in One Piece because her design, Whole Cake Island itself, her powers and what we do get about how and why she operates are all so phenomenal to me. So unique and interesting. Sanji being head over heels for women could be a fine source of comedy but the fact it can and does cross over into violating women's privacy or disrespects them as people makes even the times where he's only fawning less than endearing. Two changes would so strongly elevate him for me. 1) He could be Tempted to be skeevy, but would never actually do it. That he ultimately would never be a peeping tom or do anything unseemly. 2) Broaden his attraction to women more generally and not just the conventionally attractive women. His putting women on a pedestal being a combination of memories of his mother being the only person in his biological family to show him any kindness and the old-timey traditional values impressed upon him by Zeff makes for a fascinating explanation of his behavior. Knowing his history and what informs this view of women though gets uncomfortable, gross and I would even argue out of character when he actually acts on it or declares an earnest intention to. Would Zeff approve of Sanji leering at a woman in the shower even with permission, much less without permission? I wager Zeff raised him better and truly the only reason Sanji ever actually acts like a sex creep is because it's such a common humor shorthand in manga/anime, not for truly justified character based reasons.

Big Mom the most underrated underloved character for real. The most human of all the powerhouses and she's hated for it. Idk, to each their own, but I thought characters were supposed to have emotions and weaknesses, not be perfect fighting machines that should never lose or who's Haki (although we know hers isn't as good as Kaido's) should never let anyone weak person even touch them. Even though Kaido has been pierced by a dying Kin'emon. I just think people don't actually understand Haki, but maybe that's just me. Haki isn't an invincible steel barrier that's always active, btw

I think you could also rate characters by how well written & developed they are, rather than who would you want in your crew. It hurt my soul to see where you put Sanji & Usopp, since so far in this story, I consider them the best written & most developed characters in One Piece. Doflamingo too. I realized we're missing some of fan favorites. Where are Oden, Mihawk, Kin'emon & Hancock? I also love Pudding. My thought as well. Yes Sanji simping is annoying. But he's so damn loyal, smart, strong and reliable...but apparently Robin is muscle enough. Ugh I dunno how I feel about this. I just discovered Merphy and I disagree with a lot of her takes.

IF the live action ever reaches Marineford, I hope they time the Luffy, Ace and Sabo flashback to before the war or even some time way earlier. It could fix the whole thing IMO.
