I'm ranking every One Piece arc like the mad man I am. Whether you agree with my list or disagree we can all agree that One Piece is special and we should enjoy while it's still here. I didn't rank the Egghead Island arc because it hasn't finished yet, but based on what I've read so far it's for sure in S tier.

The villain was meh, but the way luffy fought the villain and the story surrounding it was amazing. Like there was one moment where luffy got hit multiple times and he admitted that he was intentionally getting hit to wear out the weapon. I felt the villain contrasted well in baratie, but warpol was just trash and awkwardly placed in the narrative against luffy as someone who just needed to be beat up and was always going to be beat up easily by luffy. Don krieg came from the at the time innocuous grand line and so it was a mystery as to if luffy would pull it off while the stakes were high b/c if he failed they’d die and it truly situate them as a lackluster pirate group incapable of surviving in the grand line. Where as if luffy got beat by warpol we’d all just stop watching the series because it’s garbage.

17:15 - Thriller Bark is painfully underrated, it's so creative and introduces my 3rd fave Straw Hat in Brook, who easily has the most painful backstory in all of One Piece. i LOVE the Halloween aesthetic and "Nothing Happened" is the Cherry atop the Thriller Bark sundae.

Personally the beginning ruined the entire arc for me, after Luffy agreed to play a game after watching Shelly get shot. The fact that they made half of the arc filler didn't help either. I didn't completely hate it though, as there were some amazing scenes like the Zoro and Sanji tag team against the giants.

When I watched Alabasta I did get kinda bored of the countless episodes of them traveling the desert it was a good arc but a few of the episodes could’ve been condensed in my opinion

The best arcs are definitely just the chill happy ones like water 7 and louge town they have to be some of my favorite arcs where they kinda just explore and do there own thing and especially after a giant arc like what you said post marine ford post enies lobby especially return to sabaody HOLY they were so good and fun to watch with everyone reacting to bounties and stuff

END - couldnt agree more with the take on Wano, even before Wano began, Oda was building and building and BUILDING the arc up, and the building only kept building as the arc went onward, culminating in a climax that was ultimately satisfying and made me eager to see what all was gonna transpire from here, Final Saga here we come! to Laughtale! Elbaf! and to the End of the World! ...or the beginning of a new one.

Marineford has to be the best arc it may be “overrated” but it was perfect we got to see many pirates and powerful marines just fight and at the end ut hits hard probably one of the only arcs I cried in it was amazing

I didn’t really get into one piece until the Jaya arc, it took me 3 attempts to get into one piece I just couldn’t connect to it but for me the alabasta arc just dragged for me idk why 🤷🏼. And of course the introduction to Jimbei and Ivankov is incredible. This arc sets up perfectly to marineford. TOP OF S

25:45 - for me, Dressrosa is a B... the Story i liked a lot, the Pacing was GOD awful and felt like it was padded to the extreme. i liked that Luffy gained an army as well as reuniting with his other brother, whom we thought died in Luffy's childhood. but i hated Doflamingo, and not in a way that you're supposed to hate a villain. first of all he is a slimy, no-good, rotten-to-the-core, Celestial Dragon. secondly, they try to make him out like he is a sympathetic villain and on that note i feel Oda failed to convince me, much like he tries to make Usopp a likeable yet relatable character. Senor Pink was the only Villain i liked in this arc.

27:30 - people really compare Sanji leaving to Usopp turning on the crew?? if anything it's more like Robin's sacrifice at Water 7, he doesnt want to drag the family he loves into the problems with the family he hates, nor does he want to be a burden, so much like Nami he resorts to fighting his problems on his own, which of course is impossible, but he didnt think it was. meanwhile Long Nose turned on the crew, believing that he was the only one who cared about Merry and that they were going to turn on him soon, which was bullshit to say the least. and THEN rather than apologize to Luffy and the gang, he schemed for days to try to worm his way back into the fold, rather than admit that he was wrong. many have forgiven Usopp, but to this day, i have not, nor will i ever... he is the weakest and least developed Straw Hat of them all, and nothing short of him sacrificing himself for a crewmate (or Luffy) will redeem him in my eyes. anyways, out of all the Villains in One Piece, i felt the most for Big Mom aka Charlotte Linlin, she really feels like her and Luffy were very alike, only where Luffy had his brothers and friends, ultimately Linlin lost it all and nothing to hold onto besides her adopted dream, so she became a bad egg, much like Luffy could've been, had their fates been switched.

Whole Cake is S tier while Dressrosa is A? Are you Sanji simp? Situation with Sanji was copy-paste of Robin situation, the same sh1t. He was fighting for Robin to made her realize that she can trust her nakama only to do the same sh1t in Whole Cake island completely forgetting what he fight for in Robin situation. He believed Luffy would become pirate king, why the hell he didn't trust Luffy to take out Big Mom? That's just weird, the only explanation - they could just kill Zeff at the Baratie, valid point. But why they didn't do it?? Big mom was just bluffing, she was too lazy to send there assassin? That's straight up plot hole dude. And that sh1t with running from Big Mom, and then making her cake, wtf was that? Many weird moments in this arc, I still loved it, but if Dressrosa is not S, then Whole Cake for sure is not S. Because Dressrosa had many strong plot lines without any plot holes. Flashback of Doflamingo childhood is S tier content, Corazon-Law flashback is S tier content, Fujitora wisdom and one of the best scenes in OP when he regret that he blinded himself, Sabo-Luffy moment, even such characters as Senior Pink. No way Whole Cake is better

We didn’t know it was dragon in loguetown. Brook wasn’t planned yet in reverse mountain. I mean luffy is still dumb to hurl his crew mates several thousands of feets, what if they break their neck when they land? So, it didn’t bother me as much as others see the top worst moments ever in the series. It’s fine to have differing opinions on arcs………

Oda man....The series has gone on since forever, and where series like Naruto and Bleach, while not bad from a cool fights standpoint, saw a consistant or severe drop in either qiality of the story, hype for the characters or satisfying conclution, One Piece going on to egghead has 4 S tier Arcs back to back to back to back in its latest releases. 13:47 because they are one giant arc… there is no “Enies Lobby” or “Post Enies Lobby” arc, it’s just Water 7 through chapters 296 to 440. I literally have the box set of paper manga with me, and the spines of all the books past Skypeia and before Thriller Bark say “Water 7”; I have no clue where the misconception that Water 7 and Enies Lobby were different arcs began but it drives me nuts
