Great guide and, most importantly, perfectly accurate conclusion. I personally don't use lepers very often, but I don't avoid using them. I just stack overkill levels of utility on the rest of the party and let the Chad do Chad things. I also take my chances with any curio that can give a random positive quirk hoping to get either Natural Swing, Quick Reflexes or Luminous so I can lock them, rename the Chad to "Baldwin IV" and just steamroll stuff.

The Leper would be horrible in typical Collector fight, because the Collector fight requires you to focus fire on the Collector while doing the minimal amount you need to do to control the adds just enough to keep them from buffing, guarding and healing the Collector. The way you lose a collector fight is you spend too much time trying to kill adds, because the collector never runs out of adds.

i always build my leper for longevity. usually a highwayman or a houndmaster will be dealing damage as the leper tanks as much damage as possible. even though he can't guard, the high hp and solemnity make him an excellent way to stall when possible.

Purge is most useful for clearing corpses and bringing back row enemies within striking distance, also if you use it to finish off the front row enemy it prevents a corpse from spawning.

Slushi Simcambi You’re not necessarily wrong or right here. As much as true,marks on those bosses do tend to stay around for less,unless they have 3 or more attacks per turn(which makes your marks inconsistent),you usually can get hits with marks in.

Slushi Simcambi I mean,I really implied that you have a hero that is designated to use marks or that there is more than one mark synergy in your team. But if you want to go that way, then the bounty hunter has +90% damage against marks. Add Vvulf’s trophey trinket there(don’t remember it’s name) and you get over 100% damage bonus,so it’s better than two attacks. Also the arbalest has +100% damage bonus vs marks. With the aforementioned trinket it’s even higher. At the same time this does have a disadvantage of have a lower average damage than two attacks. Same way 1d12 is worse than 2d6,for example. So yeah it’s a little complicated and I honestly can’t say for sure which is better. Obviously it’s better to just bring more tan one mark synergy hero to get even more out of it. But if you only have one...yeah it’s usually not really worth it on Multiattack creatures. The original comment was a joke anyway lol.

Has anyone actually used purge? I'm on week ~160 and I still haven't used that trash. If you're spending turns destroying corpses you're doing something wrong (unless if there's only one enemy left).

Most of the time nop,but i find some times that destroying the corpse before certain enemies can use their aoe skill (the fungus that atk from pos.3-4, the centaurpig charge) help alot.

You need an accuracy trinket on him- thats mandatory. Buffing him several times with the jester also really does work

hot take: leper is in his own tier bellow all other heroes. He does 1 thing well but needs accuracy buffed to even do that. He can hit rank 1 and 2 but he's not even that consistent at it? comon. He's by far the worst hero to fight in corridors with. His support skills are mediocre and he cannot draw of damage from his team. He only ever excels in bossfights where the boss isa always in rank 1 or 2 and if the boss doesn't dodge that much. The only reason you guys like him is because of the meme and that he occasionally hits monster numbers.
