Did you know that George Washington is not only the founding father of the United States of America, but also one of the original supporters of mass immunization in the USA? In the wake of a massive smallpox outbreak during the Revolutionary War, Washington required all of his soldiers to get a smallpox inoculation. This radical move may have actually helped him win the war.

You failed to mention that Africans were responsible for teaching this concept to Washington.

You can blame my editors for that! Cotton Mather in Boston wrote that he first learnt of the process from Onesimus, who'd undergone the process as a young man at home in West Africa, before he was enslaved and transported to America.

I'm Canadian so first off I'm grateful that the Continental army fled Canada. But I'm also a RN and full supporter of vaccinations. It is not a pretty sight to watch a child die from something that could have been prevented.

Should there be an "opt out?" No. Except, of course, for legitimate medical necessity. No philosophical or religious excuses.

***** Precisely, because if you know the right dosage of vitamed C, you could cure the diseases that the vaccines are pushed for... Dr Klenner cured polio back in the 40s in the 60 out of 60 cases that presented at his clinic and dispensary. With education no one would choose vaccination... The dosages are delivered as Klenner did by injection and IV in calculated amounts of ascorbic acid in specified mg/kg of body weight of the patient..... See Dr T.E.Levy's book for the specific dosages, and duration seen in practice. Levy's medical textbook is Curing the Incurable..

Isn’t it ironic that the people who say that those who choose to get vaccinated for free are gullible and misled for the profit of large organizations, are the same gullible people that get swindled by so called “doctors” who have don’t have a reputable bone in their body or any peer-reviewed scientific literature to back their claims. You’ve been had, man. Keep blowing your money on cure all books and nutritional supplements and you’ll wind up in the morgue with a COVID label on you like all the anti-vax radio hosts and peddlers of conspiracy that I see in the news dead of COVID everyday.

I know you blame your editors but, Don’t you think the person who REALLY TAUGHT this Mather needs mentioning? Do you think your puzzle is really complete when you leave out THE MAIN FOUNDATION PIECE? Thanks!

This is an interesting piece. Regardless of the article's intentions, I believe what we can glean from it, is the concept of inoculation in the pure sense versus the poisoning theory. This newscast shows, for the most part, a natural way of inducing viral immunity. It seems to fall in line with present day vaccines and I believe the intended message from this is that everyone should vaccinate. However, upon closer examination, the contrast between then and now is that current vaccines contain several unnatural ingredients. Said unnatural ingredients have been one of theories set forth to explain the vaccine injuries that occur. Likewise, the news piece addresses one and only one inoculation given alone, as opposed to 20-30 shots given to babies and toddlers before the age of 4.

I shut off the sound because I could not listen to both the music and the talk. The music is too loud and since I liked the music it interfered with the speech. The man talking interfered with the music. I couldn't pay attention to both so I hit the mute buttom. .

Who didn't own slaves back then? The answer is nobody. There was NEVER a slave-free colony in the original thirteen. Never.

I assume this was meant cynical... unfortunately it's more than just "he owned Slaves." There where instances that some slaves escaped from their Masters (we know why) and tried to get amnesty with the British. The British took them in...and when the Brits were defeated by George Washington...he let the British soldiers go free. But the Slaves he jailed and send back to their "Masters." There's also stories I read (but haven't found the time to confirm this story) that his fake "teeth" we're directly taken from Slaves...and I don't even want to know how this was accomplished. I can imagine it wasn't done in a humane way....let's be for real. The slavery issue shows a lack of character....but it doesn't erase the fact that we need to look at everything these man did and learn from the good....and bad...instead of idolizing these man like they were perfect. Or hide these facts like certain Republican politicians are trying by banning books or CRT.
