Looks good, though I'm not sure that I'd call it "long-forgotten" as it is a pretty standard chicken salad. I suggest cutting the cheese into cubes instead of shredding it. Everything else in the salad is cubed and I think cubed cheese would complement the rest of the textures better than shredded cheese does.
