Hey @Fisk, the box shown at 7:37 actually contains some supplies for your climb, if you complete all eight training walls. They're not necessary for the short climb of the demo, but if you play the full game in the future they may come in handy then. Just thought I'd let you know. Also, great video! I would also add that environmentalists and nature preserves strongly discourage building cairns in nature, and actually advise to knock them over. Apparently building cairns disturbs soil structure, potentially causing erosion, alters the landscape, and disrupts small ecosystems under the rocks Although they can look cool, it’s best not to make them (and some cairns are actually designated trail markers, and adding more only creates confusion for navigation in the wilderness).

a climbing game is really cool to see, i used to climb a lot. mostly gym climbing and bouldering. the mechanics in this game looked pretty cool, mixed with survival seems like a really cool concept.

From an IRL clumber's perspective, it's fun to watch someone go through the same emotional rollercoaster (fear to pride, etc.) that a real climber would experience. You should try climbing IRL more. Getting to the top of a difficult mountain gives you quite a feeling.

It's a little known climber secret that when you have a leg spread far AND above your head you actually have more strength in that leg. Also, you say you haven't climbed very much but watching you use the crossed leg maneuver says that's a lie! Normally you only see the highest rated climbers being able to pull that off. Love the video.. stay on the ground so we can continue to watch your content. Not to tell you what to do.. but it would be interesting to see a cross-over video with your other channel!!
