A very windy Bolsover in Derbyshire the small town hoping to get city status

This is Bolsover a small town in North East Derbyshire the town has applied to become a city and is on the shortlist of 39 towns waiting to see who gets city status. Bolsover has a castle which I will be going to when the weather gets warmer and drier lol. This is the first time I’ve been here there’s not many shops but the expletive are very friendly if you are ever passing up the M1 motorway it’s worth having a look round

I lived there for 4 years. Lovely place. But when it snows......it really snows.

It has changed a lot since I was born there in 1957. The biggest economic impact was the coal mine's closure. Pity you didn't show the church or castle this time around.
