if you think about it, izone’s disbandment has already lasted longer than their time together as a group, but it really doesn’t feel that way since the girls have kept us well-fed with updates, projects, and interactions. the disbandment was sad, but knowing they still stay close, in-contact, and support each other reassures me that, even with the contract ending, they never truly disbanded.

Yujin's growth made me so proud...as someone who ulted her since Izone days never would I have imagined her to become a leader of her own group, and never would I have imagined her to go viral multiple times for her stage presence. Back then I loved her for her bright personality and her unique voice, but what made me love her even more after Izone was how much she has grown as an idol and as a person. She's such a gem and I'm glad that she has proven herself to the world. Now going on to Izone... They're really a treasure of their generation (no, actually a treasure of Kpop). I'm so glad that all of them ended up finding success in their respective careers. I'm still hoping for a reunion though 😢

Nako is going for the actress/talento route, she's got a few gigs, she hosted a few shows, so she is 100% going to stay in the industry but more as a support, actress, and host than idol. EDIT : she also walked a few catwalks for several brands (including f-ckin shein...). For Hitomi, when she was back in AKB48, she was an absolute MONSTER on stage. It was the first time I've seen AKB groups so synchronized (as someone that listened to jpop since 2009), she was running the practice rooms like the military, and it was GREAT. She'll be such a great leader for SAY MY NAME !

I'm seriously very proud of yena. Ive been a fan since pd48, the SECOND i saw her the first episode with her aura i knew, "that's my girlie and i mentally need her to debut." Now, shes my favourite all time idol (w itzy's ryujin) out of the 200+ groups and 40+ soloists i stan. She had such a glow up, Her music NEVER been bad and is perfect. I'm so proud of all the girls! I have been a Hyewon fan from the start, and to this day, Hyewon is still my all-time favorite idol. I loved watching Hyewon grow, and it makes me so happy to see her get awarded for her drama a while ago. Six years ago when i was new to kpop, i didn't expect these girls to intrest me that much, but they've become more than just my ult group quickly, still being my number 1 of all kpop groups. just some corrections :) yuri wasn’t under wakeone (wakeone at this time was actually called onefact ent), she was under stone music ent, but during cjenm’s reorganization of their sub labels after izone’s disbandment stone music stopped managing artists and most were transformed to wakeone when the company was relaunched. yuri’s plans for after the group were actually already rumoured before pd48 from 201-2020, it was a joint label group between stone music and pledis (which i really don’t understand bc is that not just otr ent) other members of lineup group were; Yunjin, Natty, Kaeun(after school), haein (kiof’s director), eunyoung & sian (idol school & pd48), haneul from idol school,and even mashiro eventually, kinda the avengers… this is why yuri natty & yunjin spent awhile training with eachother and yuri was close to yunjin already during pd48 this project was likely scrapped in 2019-2020as a result of hybe acquiring pledis and the ceo cutting ties with cjenm & otr ent also nako graduated from HKT48 in april 2023, she has been focusing on acting, entertainment, and modeling and hitomi did have a similar level of experience to the rest of j-line, but it was just that she was very unpopular before pd48, unlike the other girls

I was never into Iz*One, since I missed their time by only getting into kpop properly in 2021. Still, the fact that I know so many of the members by name and could tell you about their activities post-Iz*One is really telling of the impact they continue to have on kpop, even three years after disbanding! I'm so happy their activities have gone so well for them, especially with how scared everyone was for their futures when they disbanded thanks to all the chaos that went down with post-ioi stuff. They really were a one of a kind group!

This video made me cry, I watched produce48 and I'm gonna be really honest I disliked and I was pissed at half of the final line up for izone at the time, but then I saw their debut and oh boy things changed FAST All of their songs were good, stages were perfect, and the 12 of them as a group just made me fall in love, and I went from a person who thought izone would be at best generic and forgetable to a big fan who cries 'til this day listening to some of their songs. But thing is this video also made me remember I'm soo proud of them, I still miss izone and I feel like I'll be missing izone forever, but it will always make me happy when I see them happy, each of the members has a special place in my heart. Izone is still everything to me.
