I said goodbye to my 17yr old pup Dusty today. I took a break from crying to open KZbin as a distraction, and this was the first video to pop up. Cue the crying again! I wish I didn’t know this pain, but this video gives me hope that I can be like you a few weeks from now, and that I’ll be able to talk about my pup without instantly falling apart. Also, seeing you tend to the memorial you made for Cali got me thinking that something similar might be therapeutic for me. Thank you.

Hey Rachel. I've been following you since you started building furniture for Cali. I'm going to miss seeing her cutesy face so much. I lost my beautiful dog 7 days ago as well. She was 17 years-old. I brought her back home and buried her in my yard. It sounds weird just typing this out as it hits me that she's really gone. I have four more beautiful dogs that miss her just as much and they are giving me strength to carry on. On a side note, how awesome was that you caught what I assume was a Space X rocket leaving Earth. What a beautiful scene. Oh Rachel, I know exactly how you feel. My sweet Conner got his wings on August 30th and I still cry for him every day. He was the most amazing little soul and loved me no matter how bad my breath was or how crazy I could get myself. He took my heart with him but its ok, I know I'll get it back someday.
