just when I asked for some guidance 🫶🏽 I sent in my resignation letter this morning for a job that's been good to me, but at the same time, makes me feel so drained. I'm quitting to hopefully find a gardening/inventory job. I used to always strive for academic and other people's validation, but really, I just want to live slowly and take care of myself. thank you for your words, I wish you the best 🩷

I needed this. I'm turning thirty in a couple weeks. I've come far, but not without major loss and heartache. I never expected turning thirty to give me a flare up of feelings, but it has. I don't feel I've failed, but I do feel different and even mournful for everything I've had to endure to get here. I'm looking forward to the next decade, but I'm pushing through the sense of heartache. Thank you for your vulnerability. It helps.
