Wonderful childhood memories of days long gone in the 50s / 60s and 70s before getting wed in 1975 and moving away never to return.

Enjoyed the video and photos reminded me so much of my childhood, I lived there from 1972 on ty Mawr road, my father run the newly built council depot, so after the black bridge we were the only house there except for a few of the old lock cottages (like billies) also there was a haulage company where the melingrifith site used to be beneath the rugby club, me and friends used to ride along these paths up to castle coch on many occasions or over to radar. Fond memories ..😊😊

I am glad you liked the video, I remember the council depot I had family and friends that worked there. I have a few photos of the employees gathered together in the yard in their bright yellow vehicles. The haulage company was Atlas Express, I have a video slide show of them on my youtube channel, my dad and brother were lorry drivers there. I have many fond memories of the area, that's why I'm making the videos and slideshows. Out of curiosity, where are you living these days? Thanks Steve
