This is the state of majority of govt job aspirants who go with all passion and no practicality in mind. Lateral entry scheme for entry into top govt positions is a good initiative in atleast killing this practice among youths of wasting their prime years trying to get entry into IAS (with lateral entry one can always get chance later.) People must focus on getting a job (pvt/govt doesn't matter) first. If one has the will power and bhagya, one can always switch later to something more fulfilling (not always in money terms.) 😃

Did you even watch the video? He had zeal to becoming officer so he took coaching and studied his best but due to his financial he had to work as security guard at the same time. Aspirants from poor family who don’t have financial support struggle a lot. After the coaching was over he should have gone back to village for preparation so that he don’t have to spend money on rent plus he is Hindi medium which is hard to find corporate jobs. Corporate jobs always look for good communication skills. English is important in this country.

The "IAS" term is so glorified in this country that, Common people - Thinks this is the only way to achieve high in less time, with fame and respect Business people - Sell the 'IAS' term and course and make money easily. Social Media people - Sell the 'IAS' dream, make content and gain their time, make themselves a profit from platforms like youtube, Instagram etc.. Now, these common people are not aware and have become blind, that their actual other dreams have been forcefully converted to the ''IAS/IPS' which now themselves are wandering around the UPSC, IAS, IPS, Govt jobs etc. They are not aware about their passion. Solution : Make people aware about their actual original dreams and passion, obviously business people and social media people wouldn't do that because for their money profit.
