Thanks for the walk down memory lane!. As Park Superintendent for almost seven years, back in the eighties, I lived in the park house at Cheztemoka and walked out my back door for work. Wonderful times! Maybe you, Dave, worked there while I was there? We had many young people on our crew during the summer season. My co-worker and best friend, Steve Corra and I loved working for the City Parks Department. Chetzemoka was the crown jewel and we spent many hours playing frizbee after work in big expanse of lawn at the back of the park. There's a little memorial for my mom there as well as one for Steve who sadly passes away over 20 years ago. I'll always remember the beauty of the land and the big-hearted people of Port Townsend!
