A Vision Board Collage of Symbolism for Emotions & Feelings Created on a Journal Page for Healing

In this video I use a collection of photos, images and symbolism to create a collage in my junk journal to help me get clear about how I want to feel moving forward in 2024. By using various images I create two collage pages and I talk about the issues I would like to heal within myself. Using images and symbolism can be an incredibly effective and therapeutic way to sort out how we feel, why we feel the way we do and how we would like to move forward. As avid junk journalers, we tend to connect more naturally with visuals and images and this is a great way to express our thoughts and feelings.

Lisa, I am just blown away...I'm speechless. This touched me deeply. It embodies everything I need right now. This is a master course on living life with perseverance and tenacity in a 73 minute video! I wish I had all of these images. It must have taken you forever to pick them all out and put them together! I just can't pick my jaw up off the floor! It is almost like you wrote this for me to hear. I have been struggling, and this just puts everything into perspective. I need to go to bed soon, but I am going to watch this again in the morning and write all of this down! Every word of it, because it all rings true for me. I just can't believe it. Awwwww, Elizabeth, that’s so sweet of you! Now I’m all vklempt lol! Your comment has touched me and I thrilled that it resonates with you and you found it helpful. That really was the goal…..that and to be able to connect so we don’t all feel alone. We know intellectually that we aren’t but there is nothing better when your soul is touched by another and you feel connected and very much not alone. I cannot tell you how happy I am that it came to you in the right time and in the right way. That’s in part your intuition talking! It is in these great ah-ha moments where we do some of our most profound healing….in part bc we are ready. So much of the healing and growing process is about timing. It’s why the advice we get when we are 30 doesn’t work until we are 50 lol!I’m such a huge fan of using all kinds of symbolism to express our feelings and to try and sort out some of what holds us back. @@ilaandalice Lisa, I did watch it again this morning and took notes! It took me over 2 hours because I kept pausing it and writing everything down! I got 3 full 8.5 by 11" pages of notes! LOL I plan on going on Google and Pinterest this weekend to find as many of those images that I can! This really, truly has meant a LOT to me, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing it! It may not mean the same things to everyone, but it certainly hit me hard and I am still blown away! Thank you again!
