Thanks John for the video we’re very lucky to see this as the Chrysanthemum growers tend not to show you anything, that’s why I think where I am in the East Riding it seems to be dying out. We had a bloke come to one of our NVS shows in Driffield sometime in October from Whitby with a truck load of chrysanthemums big Jap ones, he won pretty much everything. Again thanks for the video , looking forward to seeing your leeks next time you do a video

Great video John nice to see someone sharing their hard earned knowledge ,Question from a numpty what is trench fertilizer please
@gardeningwithjohnsoulsby111 Жыл бұрын
Trench fertiliser is a mix of different components to give a slow release feed over the summer months., usually higher in potash but still has nitrogen and phosphorus in lower quantity. Trench fertiliser is usually applied in late autumn .

Hi John, just a quick question. I'm boxing my chrysanths now and quite a few of them have started sprouting from the base already. Should I remove these or just take them as early cuttings?
