Ain't she a beauty? All greyed and wrinkled up but still so graceful. A glimpse into old America, which so few people remember these days.

Great video, thanks for the memories. My race buddy that took me to North Wilkesboro for the first time, somewhere in the early 90's passed away last year. We had some great times there then The Rock and pretty much all over the country before the cookie cutter tracks sprang up. When the closed NW, they offer to transfer the season tickets from NW to Rockingham. Before they added the chair back seats you used to sit on concrete, same with the rock. When racing used to be exciting.

Speechless Outlaw!! Awesome video, Justin and I watched several times already. One of my all time fav tracks, I still have my tic stubs from 4 races =), been there 10+ times! Went to last race there which was a Late Model Race for $100K to winner in early 2000's! The history at that track can never be duplicated! Wow! Thanks again for sharing, made a lot of memories at that ol mountain short track! Have a Great Evening!

So cool to hear the excitement and true appreciation of the track where I grew up. You were in a piece of history in NASCAR. It was a great little track to watch the boys of NASCAR battle it out twice a year. Lots of memories there.

Wow, I wish this man had've been as welcoming to me as he was you. I drove up and was filming from a distance and he drove up and started yelling at me and threatened to shoot me lol. I don't know, maybe because I had long hair and looked like a hippie, who knows! Great video and thank you.

I have heard also that he is very mean. They really lucked out. I have been inside too...we did get permission and the man let us in, but about 10 minutes later he yelled at us to get the hell out of there like he didn't remember letting us in. Very strange. I have yet to edit my video, but I plan to get it up on my channel soon. I saw yours too at some point!

Cool video man. I sure wish somebody at NASCAR would realize how much good will they would exhibit with what to them would be a tiny investment and bring this place back. Rockingham also. Instead, they can barely get 30,000 to 40,000 to go to Texas Motor Speedway. Cookie cutter crap tracks.

I went their to see the track with a friend. Didn't even get past the drums in the road. He came out told us we were trespassing. He was very rude. And said he was goin to call the cops on us. We watched several white people go up to the building and he said nothing. I dont play the race card but we were the only two black people their. That was so unfair. I've never had that happen to me before.
