What an absolutely beautiful house of worship !…Deeply impressive !…I shudder to think, though, of what sort of state it might’ve been ( was in ? ) during the Vichy / Nazi occupation years……

I noticed a swastika type design on the floor with continuous arms 1:52 which I always thought was a Greek pattern first brought into fruition by Pythagoras. I’m not trying to insult anyone here but does anyone recall what that pattern is called? What an amazing synagogue, thanks for sharing! 👍

They were work camps. Look into the HAAVARA Transfer Agreement of 1933. 🙏💯🔥🔥🔥

Rezo todos os dias pela paz em Israel e pela libertação dos reféns do Hamas. Que Mashiach chegue ainda hoje, brevemente, em nossos dias, amén!

For some reason I've always been interested in Jewish history and how Judaism itself changed over the years and I can't help but wonder.. What would happen if the third temple was built? Rabbinic Judaism became how people retained their connection with ha-shem. Will the rabbinic tradition end going back to a temple based sacrificial focus? Will it cause a rift in the faith?
